I find it way harder too see into Caustic's than Bangalore. But i believe it does need to either buff the damage or maybe have it stack so the longer you are in the more damage it does.
Also I find it fun too block doors with his traps it comes in handy too revive.
The damage increase well you stay more time in there, like the trap make more damage with the time and block more the vision if you trap one in 2 trap he will be very death
They need to make the gas not slow friendlies. Why that even exists is baffling
- I think he should be used for the vision he gets when enemies are in smoke, idk haven't played him just read his abilities.
Having more damage i also guess devs tried that and decided it was too much given the fact he can throw 6 gas tanks. (There was already a post like this before) I think his kit got alot of early pressure and i don't think buffing the damage would take him into a good position of "being". I personally would lower the charges and up the damage very slightly like; 3 charges, 4/5 dmg per sec on a 30 sec recharge cd. Also i would make his Ult cd down and also buff damage and range so you have a ult thats is not like Gibs or Bangalores but still something unique. In general, Legends should'nt exceed in what they do, but still be unique and strong in how they do something.
I had a hallway of all 6 of my traps set up and the enemy team walked right through them and it hardly did any damage.
They didnt even try to avoid them.
Yeah, seems like anyone who knows the damage it does just goes right through it without worry. I love the idea of area denial and using them to detect enemies following you but the damage being so low doesnt force them out of the gas. The ult seems like the aoe is only the size of one or two of the canisters aswell? Even it doesnt seem to do much damage as they just walk through it too. You also only seem to get the passive while youre in the gas aswell, most of the time i have to just follow the damage numbers around.
The real benefit of the smoke is the area-control. The damage is just icing. The only way its damage should be buffed is INDIRECTLY. Make each NOX Gas source produce its own damage application. You're in a building with 4 enemy gas clouds? You're taking 4 separate ticks of damage. They threw down their ult? Now its 5 ticks. Don't just up the raw numbers, that's so one-dimensional.
His damage needs to stack per gas, not just increase radius. And the gas should not effect allies. What kind of nonsense is that?
Enemy gas should be yellow like Gilbrators shield. Allies gas should be green.- The gas should affect squad mates. But not if they're near you.
