Caustics nox gas ability needs a little buff

I agree with making the nox trap do more damage over time, maybe starting with 5 and doubling every second?

If not, then it should deal a set amount of damage over time if it’s activated at all, regardless of how long you stay in it.

The problem with his gas is that it does not stun or slow enemies if they have armor on still. They can just walk through it and the damage over time is so low that it won't strip them of it before they get out. My suggestion is that nox gas should bypass armor and do direct damage to health with the stun/slow effect taking effect shortly after entering the gas. This would make the gas a better area denial ability if players are actually afraid to enter it in fear of losing control of their legend.

Totally agree I'm trying to Main Caustic and considering you gotta grind to unlock him his ultimate AOE seems little lack luster, considering its his ULTIMATE ability how comes Bangalores smokescreen has bigger range. I get that it doesent do damage but the range on it is *... people just run away making the whole ability to see in the gas pointless. Compared to other Ultimate AOE's like Gibraltas, Bangalores and even bloodhouds their AOE's are nuts

Yeah... i main caustic... he is * good while last circle and defense with 6 barrels... but i liek to paly him jsut because i know where are enemies ( my second main is bloodhound). This toxic is... useless... just little slow and you can stay at gas for 50 sec and yo uare ok :D Maybe buff it on even 5 dmg? good could be 10 dmg and 50 % slow... or 25 % . And make it more...  throughsee. Same like smoke by this black girl... you can see at this smoke at when yo ufight there its... useless. And if you dont want make toxic gas slowing so make him more dmg. And maybe... if you want make some charakters faster and some slower, so get these slowers ( caustic) some help like more hp... def? Because its really bad when you want fight and bloodhound can jump like rabbit and his hitbox is little and yo ucant even move and your hitbox is bigger than godzilas. some balance could be fine, ebcause when i play tank i expect some def or something... not to be slow and easy to hit...

I agree with you but there another problem with caustic gas traps it's the ranges it's very short range. I'm main caustic and i love him to use his ultimate because of passive it's very strong i understand his gas traps are bad dmg but *keep on mind his passive has same way as bloodhound ultimate.* 

I'm trying to main him atm but I'm afraid I'll have to switch to someone more capable..the gas cloud SUCKS, like others had already said Bangalore's Smoke Grenade is WAY better and it's not even an ultimate? Rofl yeah, I'm sorry Caustic you're out.

The problem with his kit in my opinion is that he can't be good at other stages in the game than room/ver close area combat. If you make his gas stronger other charakter can't go anywhere without dying, so u will see in every team a caustic, gas'ing every spot where loot is. I guess his ult could be stronger, maybe instead of a gas cloud an acid bath with a stronger dot or something.

I mean on the character select screen he is called a 'Toxic Trapper' his kit doesn't exactly 'Trap' anything... I just feel like he need something else his kit is very good when your in the right situation at the right time but those scenarios are very few and far between. But yeah i think his ultimate ability aint Ultimate worthy, better off have the ult range nerfed give it 3 charges and making it his 'Q' ability that would give him some more range in fights and more uses for his gas as smokescreens aldoh that would mean he needs a new ultimate all together. then again i like the idea of an AOE toxic sludge ulti that could give someone a poison debuff for a period of time even when they leave the sludge

My real life friends complain that when I use his gas it disorients them and makes them slow or have issues aiming. They also can't see through it.

So, when it pops off, it is a great way to have my team yell at me in real life....wooo.

Since it does anemic damage they double down on how much he sucks.

I think its fine how it is. The gas slows you and deals damage DIRECTLY to you're HEALTH, straight through armour.

You cant rely on your traps alone to kill people. As a caustic you can see through your gas and walk quicker through them, you should be in there gunning them down too. if youre leaving your gas on its own its not going to do much. its more than a damaging trap it totally disorients people and blocks them off from being so aggressive. they still may push but they will be taking alot of negative effects and most likely lose the battle if you play it well.
