@Midnight9746What is your evidence for this constant cheating? I've read your posts for a long time regarding it yet I wonder what the difference is vs you landing all your shots. I play pc too and actually think there are less cheaters vs console as console does not show numbers. Every time I die I can see why. Why do you think every match you play has cheaters in it? It is virtually impossible and accuracy is pretty easy to control anyway..
And also, strike pack offers "constant aim" instead of "accurate aim". You can aim better than it can is the normal response to it. The difference is it can allow you to do other things, like jump while not having to think about recoil control or tracking. So, just accurate aim alone is not a reason to suspect cheating. Some can shoot straight with a controller, easy, not that hard, depending on settings and I have yet to see a difference.
edit - if there was any real evidence those players would be banned, but I do not see it? I am not here to choose sides yet I have yet to see it legit happen. And this is coming from someone who does not trust EA/Respawn.
IMO, he says it all in the title: cheating AND smurfing. To the average player in this game the one is indistinguishable from the other. Is the OP constantly squaring off against actual cheaters? Probably not. But it's pretty obvious, especially this season, that Respawn has abandoned all pretense at matching players based on skill. So when a normal player has fifteen consecutive matches where he is expected to square off against highly skilled players who are gifted with your "easy to control accuracy..." then how is he supposed to tell that apart from cheating? (Hint: even if he can, it doesn't make it okay.)
My matches this season are all like this. I get fifteen matches in a row where my squadmates are new to the game, and then I get a single match where by squadmates are, "enemy down, enemy down, whole squad wiped" three times before the second circle, and that's without any help from me whatsoever. So my option is to try and save the hopeless or be the hopeless third wheel. This is why people quit matches and call out cheating. The game has become a sewer and whether it's because of actual cheaters, or just soft cheating, or just Respawn's inability to matchmake, is utterly beside the point.
The only thing that it on point is whether the problems get better over time or worse. So far it's sixteen straight seasons of deterioration. At least from what I can see. And telling the OP that it's not cheaters he's experiencing, just better players, is kinda missing the entire point. IMO. It's quibbling over the speed of your pizza delivery while your house burns down with you still in it.
- 3 years ago@reconzero Hey bro, I'm with you, mostly. I was not referring to the op tho regarding the constant cheating posts.
It's always been like that - bad teammates and every once in awhile a good match where the stars align.
Bro, can I be honest with you? You remind me of someone who just got the game and failed to remove the shrink wrap yet plays it somehow..... I'm not insulting you but dude you play on default settings for one, no one does that. At least one notch up if you wont do custom settings. 2nd thing is charge rifle....bro, just start playing with whatever is meta..r301, r99, car, whatever..you'll realize what the community is "on about" real quick and hopefully also learn some stuff about 1v1's? Maybe? 3rd you sound real negative about new ideas...which means you'll suffer whenever new metas are introduced... 4th, passive play will reflect whenever you 1v1 a friend, or anyone really...it's not fun, and you realize it means nothing, although you have all those "stats".
I'm not some guru who's above it all and I'm not that good either, but man, whenever we talk it's like you are playing something else, aside from this latest comment.. Sorry, I just had to say this. Feel free to correct me, and I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I doubt that I'm wrong about this. 🙂 - reconzero3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Unitee01
You are not being disrespectful, and you're not wrong: I am playing a completely different game than the one Respawn designed, and that everyone else plays.
And how on earth do you know what settings I'm using???!!! It isn't that I haven't tried tinkering with them. Every time I do I gain 5% accuracy with close range weapons while giving up 50% accuracy on mid to long range weapons. And as you know, my game is a mid to long range game.
And before I leave the subject of settings, if default are somehow "not playable" then shame on Respawn. And you know who can change over to the highest possible sensitivity and still land every shot? Aimbotters and predators. And if you want to make the argument that there's a difference between the two then I'll take you at your word. But there isn't to me.
"you sound real negative about new ideas" Not sure exactly what you mean, although I'm not exactly prepared to contradict you either. What I will say is that my own personal meta isn't something I pulled out of a hat. It's 22,000 matches of experience. If something doesn't work, or can't be made to work with a reasonable expenditure of time and effort, then it gets shitcanned. Goodbye 301. Goodbye Sentinel. Goodbye anything in the game where I'm expected to die 700 times before I begin to "get it." And by "get it" I mean some skill or trick or tactic that works 51% of the time. Not good enough, not worth the effort, not fun. That's a grinder's game. And while I respect anyone who wants to treat this game that way, it's not the way I want to treat it.
Which brings me around to why I love battle royale as a gametype. I love it because it's big enough and flexible enough to be able to accomodate different skill sets, different playstyles, and different attitudes. But it is still completely at the mercy of height of its skill ceiling and the quality of its matchmaking. I've often said this game is too hard to be good at, but that wouldn't even matter if matchmaking in this game had anything to do with skill. It doesn't, it gets worse over time instead of better, and I'm far from the only one who notices the problem. - 3 years ago@reconzero LOL yeah dude, like I said, remove the shrink wrap and start playing. Forget the stats for now, and learn to play up close as well as ranged and in between - worth it in the long run. Opens up the game.
Well, I don't know myself how I always remember certain things about people yet fail to remember what I had for breakfast lol. I can legit remember posts people made years ago, and when I call them out about it they tend to ghost me or get pissed. Not many people like me around here, because I tend to highlight their hypocrisy, but that's fine as well 🙂
Well, yeah, you do seem negative and closed up to new things - like learning r301 for example..while dying lol. It's a part of the game's life cycle, I say do it before it's gone and get good at it. Try things.
Yeah, I agree, the game is hard, but that is sbmm making it so, which is why I'm so against it - it's unnecessary for anyone who got better at it. For someone who has been playing as long as you have I think you are actually a lot better at it than you give yourself credit for. You just need to learn some things along side what you already know and that's a part of the fun actually.
