Different "Nerf Wingman/Peacekeeper" Solution
A soft nerf of sorts. Remove the crosshair. Completely. You still have your ironsights and ads and what-not but zero crosshair.

The crosshair for the wingman is rather useless anyway given its huge spread when fired from the hip.
