@Skuldorulf I feel like they do, at least in some way as I didn't see too many in quads, (or they're just not queing into the mode). However, there's plenty of other times that suggests that they don't do much.
I don't have the data or anything to argue one way or another, only that Hideout bans a ton of cheaters, (most recently was most of the preds and master players), but also that cheaters are still running rampant in ranked.
It feels like visually, they're not doing much about the cheaters, but there have been times when I got on, and no one was cheating for the whole day, then the next day the game was being swarmed again.
Again, I don't know the specifics myself, so it could be either way. I just hope it doesn't end up like Titanfall 1 & 2 where the game was pretty much handed over to cheaters and no one else played.

In my opinion, only the blatant ones where it presents them no other option but to have to. Other than that... I feel hard no!
Don't get me wrong, harassment, racisms, inappropriate gamer names et cetera - Yes, all day long them punish them.
I would love to see the stats on all bans and see how many cheaters are banned vs toxic/harassment/inappropriate content. I have a feeling it would blow our minds the results of visibly seeing it on paper.

Actually apex told me I basically out of line for reporting a player named [REMOVED]. Literally the definition of hate. I was told just because of someones extreme views doesn't make it inappropriate.
Edit: Removed player ID. This is against our rule regarding "naming and shaming". Please report players using the instructions here.

@SkuldorulfCool apex staff not only does nothing to stop cheating or hate speech but they censor the proof of them failing to uphold their tos.I'll be speaking with the VA and other veteran groups (Regiment) on pulling their support of the game until they do
- Zulkiers2 years agoSeasoned Ace@Midnight9746 Titanfall 2 a cheat fest? I get 1000% more kills there than I do in Apex. Literally.

@Zulkiers Keep in mind when I tried the two games, it was back in 2020. Things might be better now, or that the cheaters just moved onto Apex instead.
@HappyHourSumwur I understand wanting to be able to say player's names on the forums, however the main reason why we cannot, (from my own understanding), is that it just causes hate towards that person.
Even if they deserved to be called out, there are also players who get accused despite being innocent. I could sit here for example and go, "@HappyHourSumwur did <XYZ>", such as saying you were cheating, when you are not. Suddenly there's backlash and hate towards you that wasn't called for.
I would rather see player names from a ban wave, then to be called out on a forum. At least from a ban wave, the names are confirmed players who were caught breaking the rules, rather than those who were just accused.- HappyHourSumwur2 years agoSeasoned Ace@Midnight9746 I did say "verified cheaters". False accusations leading to online bullying are the reason we can't do it. Cheating in a video game is also not a reason for death threats or other threats of violence, and people would do that. I get it and am just frustrated at EA/Respawn's complete inability to do anything about it.
