Re: Add keybourd and mouse support to ps5

Hello Respawn and Apex Legends team,

I’d like to request official native mouse and keyboard support for Apex Legends on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Apex is one of the games I enjoy the most, but I personally find mouse and keyboard much more comfortable and precise than a controller. I know this is not a small feature request, especially because input methods can significantly affect competitive balance. However, I believe there are ways to implement it fairly.

For example, Apex could use input-based matchmaking, placing mouse-and-keyboard players into appropriate matchmaking pools, similar to how cross-input balancing could be handled in other competitive games. Controller players who prefer controller could continue playing normally without being forced to compete against mouse-and-keyboard users.

Native support would also provide a better experience for players who already use mouse and keyboard as their primary input method, without requiring unofficial adapters or workarounds.

I’m not asking for an advantage over controller players. I’m asking for the ability to choose the input method I’m most comfortable with while keeping competitive matchmaking fair.

Apex has one of the best movement and gunplay systems in the genre, and official M&K support on PlayStation would make the game more accessible to a wider range of players.

Please consider adding this feature in a future update, or at least exploring the possibility of an input-based matchmaking system that would make native M&K support viable.
