why can't i have a single teammate that knows how to play? every ranked match I play I get well over 1k more dmg than my team combined

Exactly this is the issue with the ranked system. Good players are held back from reaching their true rank where they actually belongs skillwise (i.e the system makes you unintentionally smurf for a prolonged period of time each split) as the same time as bad players are getting boosted way above their actual skill level by said good players. These bad players completely suck for 3-4 games in a row, losing 50ish RPs but are then randomly being matched with one of those "good players" the 5th match where they get 150 RPs for free by just one-tapping every enemy for 20 dmg thus gaining full RP gain = +100 RPs for just sucking and getting good teammate once in a while by chance.
The Ranked matchmaking must reward individual performance and punish uselessness.
Team work is not easy. This game is not easy. If everyone only plays with better or equal team mates then nobody plays
