Flatline nerf rant
Why the flatline nerf? The flatline is harder to control than the 301 yet will have less dps once s12 rolls out. So why would anyone pick the flatline over the 301 now? Thought the flatline was a ...
@Abyssloli so true the flatline was the only gun that was able to compete with lmgs and shotguns + flatline was fun to play.
What options do you have if you don't want to play lmg or shotgun?
Bunch of peashooter guns that require near perfect aim to oneclip.
Or
50 bullets go brr + shotgun 2 taps
I mean I see why they were trying this out with the crafting of the weapons. Kind of a neat Idea, and it's not like you can't easily get to a crafting station. And it doesn't cost much for the gun. but I do agree that if it's off groundloot they shouldn't have nerfed the damage points. Granted it wasn't catastrophically bad. Unlike the useless RAMPAGE nerf. Before the update, Rampage dealt 140 damage per second. Now it’s 130. Meanwhile, when using Thermite to power up, Rampage used to deal 182 damage per second thanks to its faster fire rate. It’s now 169. If a player is fully healed, regardless of what armor they’re using, Rampage will still have more accurate hits to kill than it did before the patch (nothing). headshots). But if an enemy is already wounded, or if the Rampage is mixed with other weapons, this change could mean that one more bullet is needed to do the job.
I think when the biggest problem is not everybody plays the same and each person is different. Making solo que hard. If you have a steady squad of friends that know ypur preferred weapon loadouts or combos. Its way different. They know how to work off you and know what you have. Not everybody's an in your face R99 peacekeeper wingman sweat. some people like to snipe, others prefer a mid range combo. It's hard to balance. Very rarely do you solo queue with randoms that work together you know you have one person that's a rush when it's more passive and One that likes to do map control instead of push push So you run into problems with one person pushes gets downed. you go to help, next person pushes, knocked. Then here comes the third. And gets toasted. you've fed him a kill 1 at a time.
It's not the weapon. Just like how it's not the legend. It's how you use it, how you work with it and How much practice you have with it. Any gun could be dangerous in any player's hand same with any legend can be Absolute force to be reckoned with. Trust me I've seen people do crazy things with little to nothing, and I've seen people work a legend and use their abilities in ways that are just wow. I've personally done it. Like I have done some naughty things with just a P2020. Or with my personal favorite, a bow w/a 3x. Oh baby is it dirty. or a sentinel with a 2x (bruiser) is insane at any range. Communication and practice. Wins every time
