foot sounds

I have a mild deafness.
The footsteps in apex are so quiet compared to other games that I can't hear them at all.
Even if the enemy is 10 meters away.
Can you make the sound louder or do something else about it?

I'm learning English now, so I'm sorry if I'm wrong.

  • @Harusaya28I kinda want them to implement visual audio, so you can atleast see a footstep icon to know when somebody is close... its pretty useful on Fortnite but its honestly too strong because you can see a swimming icon when someones like 2 hills over

they could also have other audio symbols for grenades, jump pads, ziplines, abilities, gun fire, etc

  • If you are having trouble with foot sounds, there is a good chance it's related to something on your end. I personally have never had any trouble at all knowing exactly where people are. Not generally where they are, exactly where they are. I have also played the game since launch. I use a wireless, non-fidelity focused headset like the Logitech G930 or the Corsair Void RGB Pro. I am confident in saying it's you, not the game

  • Its funny how in this game everything that is not relevant to gameplay(drooping sounds, respawn sounds, the npcs on storm point, etc) can be heard better then footsteps that are relevant if someone is close to you. Changed audio settings, changed headphones, nothing improved, sometimes I cant latterly hear footsteps from all the noise that its not that relevant and its too loud.

It would be nice  to have more audio settings that can be adjusted to lower or disable audio effects that are not that relevant as footsteps or by default those environmental sound effects to have a smaller volume then the footsteps or as someone said here, to have some icons on screen so you know when someone is close.

  • Ya'll can hear footsteps??

Jokes aside, I don't think the footsteps are the problem. I think the other audio sounds are way too high. Like me healing in a corner should not drown out footsteps. Only thing that should drown them out is gunfire.
