@SolitaryMassacresorry didn't get your point about monitors and controllers not allowing to play the game.
I don't want people to quit playing the game, I just want to have a fairground and option to choose for each player meaning:
- M&K should be able to opt-out from playing vs controller players
- Matchmaking taking into an account input device
- AND MOST IMPORTANTLY Respawn not trying to close the gap between M&K and controller via AA that introduces a very high risk of hackers exploiting that on all platforms - what we see now in the community, especially diamond+ lobbies
I really don't mind AA being active or optional (on/off) when console players play against each other or face off with a PC player who uses a controller.
Yet I don't see it worth being available in the current format, where it can be used on M&K and hacks, just because the game can't distinguish between when it is legit and when it is used as game exploit. If we extend this logic, now the game might be playable on Switch and other platforms, so should we not set max resolution limits so that PC players also play on 12" or smaller screens?
Same as recoil and recoil scripts - again in my opinion a similar case here Repsawn at first introduced recoil and then introduced legit, undetectable way to counter it giving many players an unfair and huge advantage be it learning patterns, jitter (still not buying it), no recoil macro, strike pack (I heard that someone affected recoil as well). - @SolitaryMassacre Sorry, you are a bona-fide dunce. You talk about 0-1 input as that isn't an arbitrary normalised value and you misunderstand the entire argument in the first place. Yes controller should have an adjustment to put it more in line with MnK the issue is that rotational aim assist let's controller players have an actual 0ms response time in adjusting for strafe changes. No serious debate involving mnk vs controller argues for the complete removal of aim assist, the slow down aspect is completely necessary, it is the part of aim assist that *quite literally* aims for you that people take an issue with (just as a reminder 40% of aiming on controller IS NOT YOU, it is the computer)

Hmm, can you point out the time stamps where my controller aimed for me?

I'll wait.
While I'm waiting, there is no such thing of "0ms response time". The response time is on me the player. When I start shooting my gun, the sights don't magically cross over onto an enemy. In Apex, half the time you have to lead your shots, aim assist doesn't do * there.
You people and all your claims of AA "aiming for you" and "having a 0ms response time" is just false. There is COUNTLESS amounts of evidence that supports this. I seriously don't know what gets under everyone's skin about AA. They see ONE video where the player is standing still and someone walks in front of them and the cursor BARELY tracks the enemy and suddenly you think AA is doing everything. Last I checked, enemys are shooting back, the player is moving (not standing still), the gun has recoil (aa won't do * there either), and there are multiple people shooting at you. There is no physical way AA is "aiming for me" and it has been proven with objectifiable evidence as well. - @SolitaryMassacre Not watching + not reading allat + it aimed for you in every kill + L controller dog.
@SolitaryMassacreWe had this debate before friend, and by now I am very certain you are not really aware how rotational aimassist works when you really think it doesn’t have 0ms reactiontime.
- @DJ_Stink_Bangers Ah yes you didn't provide any time stamps. Thank you for proving my point 🤣
People like you are simply arguing for the sake of arguing. You can't even argue a point or support it. - @matzesingt
Nah. You guys def don't know how it works if you think it has a "0ms reaction time" in the middle of fighting and moving. Sure, if the player is standing still and the enemy is moving it APPEARS to have a 0ms reaction time, but everything is completely different when you are fighting and shooting your gun with recoil and everything else thrown into the mix. @SolitaryMassacreI’ll take the time to educate you, so you can stop spouting this incorrect information in the future. Rotational aim assist and aim slow down are separate parts of aim assist. Im sure you can imagine what aim slow down does but rotational aim assist LITERALLY does part of the aiming for you: when they change direction it adjusts and follows INSTANTLY (0ms reaction time) this gives the controller player enough time to react and continue tracking as if the person had never changed direction in the first place. That is why aim assist is broken. Now please shut up and stop spreading misinformation.
- @DJ_Stink_Bangers Again, find me time stamps in the video I shared with you where this "0ms reaction time" is happening. When you can show me the timestamps then maybe you will have some sort of an argument onto how "broken" aim assist is.
Currently, you're just complaining for the sake of complaining with literally zero evidence to support your claim of "aim assist is broken". You can define things all you want, doesn't mean during game play that is happening. So like I said, there is no such thing as "0ms reaction time" 😂 the player STILL NEEDS TO AIM. The game is not aiming for them 😂 its very well documented. @SolitaryMassacreAs before the problem with your video is that we don’t see your input, if person shifts his movement to the left and you pull further to the right then clearly you will overwrite the aimassist input… we really don’t need to debate this at all anymore I play with controller myself I know what it does I see it on my own games and I see exactly how much it pulls towards target… don’t know why you try to pretend it’s nonexistent when every soul with common sense understands what makes it so strong.
You can literrly go into shootingrange and stand infront of a bot let it strafe and you strafe and if you are close enough it will literrly turn your character loli can actually give you alc settings where you have to really fight against aimassist to get off target. Yet you are here pretending it doesn’t do something it’s crazy to me I really wanna know your settings
