Why is this gun a thing? "pre fire to wind up a shot"? F-ing stupid... This is the worst gun when trying to fight a team or more than one person that you don't pre-emptively 'charge' this crap-* gun.Havoc and Devotion should already have the Turbocharger on it so it can compete with the other idiotic guns in this game.**EDIT** - This was a rant in the moment and don't mean to sound so salty... just frustrated in the RNG of my gaming. The Havoc doesn't mend well with me and I just don't care for it personally.

@GrandDoodie Played a game a few days ago and dropped 16 kills with just the havoc alone, without a turbocharger, the guns fine my dude, it's most likely your playstyle and lack of cover when pushing and lack of crouch spamming mixed with some unlucky aim.

The Havoc is nowhere near the worst gun in the game. It has a high rate of fire with high damage and a very high base ammo capacity. It is objectively one of the best weapons in the game. This is most likely a YOU problem. The havoc has been a meta crutch for at least three seasons. And no, the Havoc and Devotion shouldn't have Turbochargers baked in. Otherwise Turbocharger would become unusable because there is nothing to put it on.

@GrandDoodie they changed its recoil a bit in todays patch, it should be more predictable now. You might give it a try in shootingrangeAnyhow with r99 beeing back there is not much reason to play havoc besides maybe that you like it^^

The biggest problem I have is I am in a gun fight and cannot compete against a person that has an Alternator, Hemlock, Flatline, etc. that shoots faster and has less recoil to combat when fighting people.
I know the Turbocharger makes it good/great... but when there are maybe 2-3 per map, I have a very low chance to get one. Playing on console with no attachments for the weapon off spawn or early on, the recoil pattern is not forgiving and I am usually not able to get shields and am getting shot from 2 people that have faster shooting weapons, so literally no chance.
If the Turbocharger was purple, as frequent drops as Hammerpoint or Double-Shot, I would be fine with it and maybe become better with it... but from an 'Energy' weapon ammo type gun (in my opinion), the Volt is better for most encounters because it doesn't have a 'wind-up' feature.

@GrandDoodie thats why i said turbocharger/skullpiercer should be avable more, you have the same with wingman, in basic form it gets outperformed by many other mid-highrange weapons but the moment it has SP it can compete vs hemlock/r301 and co

Do yourself a favor and dont compete volt with havoc, volt is op and much better in many scenarios where it actually shouldnt be cuz its a smg

Just cause you did dont mean everyone can. The havoc can be useful but mainly only with a turbocharger. Its nowhere near as good as it was before it got nerfed. The devotion is far superior in everyway. The windup on it is way to long. Yes you can time it but why is it so much longer than the devotion?

@GrandDoodie Are you serious? Like, is this a real post? You actually think that the turbocharger should be added into the Havoc and Devotion. The Turbocharger is the reason the Devotion was legendary. And the Havoc is overpowered without the Turbocharger. Just, no. No.

Close Havoc is a beast and can contest everything and is for sure much better than devotion in that situation
