Just bought the new heirloom bundle after having just gotten shards today thinking they would just give me more shards since you had done away with the random heirloom packs a long time ago had I known it would be random heirlooms I never would have bought it I literally only play one legend please can I get a refund someway somehow
@idoubtit & @Duulio3 Yeah, the wording is a bit confusing, but I think what it was saying, was that each pack has a guaranteed chance of unlocking a random unowned Heirloom, and that you would be buying two Heirloom packs for the price of one set of Heirloom Shards.
The only way to pick, would of been to directly select the Heirloom you wanted from the Mythic Store. Also, as far as I'm aware of, buying this bundle is non-refundable.- khuwunai8 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
Heirloom shards refund? (for the double heirloom pack)
Hello, ive been playing this game since 2019, and just got my first ever heirloom shards. I bought the 2 heirloom packs with it, since i thought it would just end up giving me 300 shards (thats what heirloom packs usually mean afterall). However, it turned out that instead of that it gave me 2 completely random heirlooms, and the only place where its stated that it does that is in the little text in the description. The name heirloom packs is simply misleading and im actually devastated knowing that ive just spent so much money over the past 2 years just to get completely random heirlooms i wasnt even aware i was buying. When you think about it, its clearly made to look misleading or someone just overlooked it. I want to ask if its possible to get a refund for that with for example blocking the access to the heirloom packs, so that i cant simply buy it again. I am actually shocked it turned out that way and i am still speechless about it. I'm really counting on some help. - @khuwunai As far as I'm aware of, it cannot be refunded, sorry.

actually? theres literally stated nowhere that these are random besides a small font 6 description after clicking on it. its literally called "2 heirloom packs" and not "2 random heirloom packs". it is unbelievably misleading in my opinion and unfair to people like me who were literally grinding the packs for 5 whole years and saw a deal that they thought its a simple 2 for 1 (since its literally called that).

EXACTLY! THATS WHAT IM SAYING
if it actually done on purpose then its the most common scam scheme there can be. i am really hoping we can get help with that tho, i still have some faith in the company. simple renaming it to "2 random heirloom packs" would solve all of that.
@khuwunai All Apex Packs are known to give random cosmetics, (with some being specific to a legend, a battle pass, an event, etc.)
The Heirloom Apex Packs are no different as its stated that the packs will randomly pull from the list of all unowned Heirlooms.
It is worded a bit weirdly, (as it does make you think you're only getting one random Heirloom), however I believe what its trying to say, is that each pack only guarantees one unowned Heirloom, which means that both packs are indeed, random.
Quote from the in-game Apex Legends store:
- "Guaranteed one Heirloom not already owned. Heirloom item is drawn from the pool of heirlooms not already owned".

To be honest, I personally found it pretty clear.
They say that one Heirloom Pack will draw a random Heirloom from the pool of unowned Heirlooms.
You get two Heirloom packs, so that means two random Heirlooms.
They even added a section to their FAQ.
Do agree they could word these kind of things a bit more clearly though, as with these kind of things, many people get mistook fast.
Though personally I'd say that there is at least some level of responsibility to the user to check the terms first before making such a purchase.
I mean hell, I wouldn't spend my well earned heirloom shards on something I'm not sure of what it would give.
That is completely your fault if you thought that. It reads that they are "drawn from the heirloom pool at random"
- @Duulio3 Just curious, if you know what heirloom you would pick, why haven't you picked it before doing the gamble?
It was obvious to me and all my friends what it was reading the description. It was two heirlooms for one if you were willing to take two random ones.
