@alexi507 but sniping takes considerably more skill. you need to lead your shots and account for bullet drop. shotguns make the game play like a point an click adventure. sg and smg schould both be good at close range(as well as pistols).
also its way easier to miss a sniper shot if you 'miss' with a shotgun you still deal 40 damage because of the spread. 100 m you say? octane and pathfinder dont care they side step a little bit until you wiffed a few shots than grapple/jp on you and give you the pk/eva experience. you can always take cover from a sniper but if your enemy has a shotgun at close range the fight is very likely to to end soon.
Nowadays every fight involves a shotgun. How? For some (not so) unknown reason 1 squad jumps to thirdparty and kill everyone with minimal damage with a goddamn shotgun. This is how devs force us to use these damn weapons. You just simply can't win a game without using shotguns. HOW IS THAT NOT BIASED????????? ANY DEV CARE TO EXPLAIN THIS TO US?
