The problem of sniper rifles is not the damage they give, but the map design is not suitable and the mechanic of damage falloff.
Rarely you can see a place that is ONLY ABLE for snipers to shoot, there are just so many buildings and the map is really small if you really want to snipe. Usually, a wingman or ARs is enough to fight in those "long" range battles.
The another problem is the damage falloff system. At this moment, only charge rifle and havoc beam mode have real damage falloff, with other guns only have no headshot punishment (wingman doesn't have this either, so you can snipe with wingman, if you are very good of using this gun). I think it is fine to add the REAL damage falloff system to all of the guns in order to buff sniper rifles, but it may be a little complicated for it to work as it changes all the guns (so that you cannot deal a full 110 damage with PK when shooting a far target).
That's all true. I think it would be a pretty easy thing for them to fix. If they took either map and simply eliminated anything as being too high or out of bounds, that would provide sniper-only opportunities. I personally find it annoying you have to get off the higher things, like, they are there and we can see them, why can't we play on them? (rhetorical, I'm sure it's because it would involve even more server load to process the higher fights). The boundaries should be falling off the islands into the water, and the shrinking ring, that's all.
As for drop-off damage, real snipers are able to murder victims at greater distances than we typically use in this game. From Business Insider:
"Snipers typically operate at ranges between 600 and 1,200 meters [about 3/4 of a mile], and occasionally take an enemy out from much farther away. A Canadian special forces sniper, for instance, shattered the world record for longest confirmed kill shot in 2017, shooting an ISIS fighter dead in Iraq from over two miles away."
And from Quora:
"50BMG round can be fired for effect to distances around 1.5-2 miles. With “effect” being you can still hit a man-sized target in area fire or aimed fire from something like a sniper rifle. In terms of maximum flight distance, 4–5 miles minimum depending on firing angle and terrain."

Well the Kraber is a 50-cal sniper with great fire power and its a cre package drop so like what others were saying the damage output is reasonable for its rarity. So I say its normal for you to get 1 shoted by a Kraber
