Linking Xbox apex account to my new Ps5 apex account

I recently made the switch to my ps5 using the same email I have for my Xbox account but I have ran into an issue with my EA account which is linked to my Xbox it has a different email then the one I have for my ps5 EA account. I have tried linking the account but I’ve been told that they won’t let me link cause they it’s a different email. I wanted to contact you guys because I have no other way of possibly getting my items I payed for from my other account and the heirlooms which took my forever to get I’m asking if you guys could help me at all the transfer because I really don’t want to start over I’ve been playing apex for a while on my Xbox account and i really don’t want to lose all the stuff I bought grinder for please if your able to please contact me back, please and thank you

LQAI509 First off, this statement doesn't make sense to me.

If your EA Account is unable to be linked to your PlayStation Account due to having a different email, then how is your Xbox Account linked to your EA Account, if your Xbox Account has the same email as your PlayStation Account?

Secondly, your Apex Progress is stored on the EA Account in which the Apex Progress was earned and/or progressed on, (and as such, you sadly aren't able to transfer, (or merge), your Apex Progress to/with another EA Account).

I had more than one EA Account

If your Apex Legends progress was spread across multiple EA Accounts, then your accounts weren’t merged. You can use Cross Progression on your separate EA Accounts, but the content from these accounts hasn’t been merged together.

You can’t move progress from one EA Account to another. Unlinking a platform from your EA Account and linking it to another one won’t move your progress.

So this means that in order for you to be able to continue playing Apex with your saved Apex Progression, your PlayStation Account must be connected to the same EA Account as your Xbox Account, (which does require your EA Account to never had been linked to another PlayStation Account before in its lifetime as there usually a lifetime link added after the first account link).

How to link an EA Account to Xbox, PlayStation®, or Switch

If you used the same email address to create your EA Account and console account, your accounts should automatically connect when your game loads on your console. Otherwise, you’ll need to link your account.
Some platforms only allow you to link your EA Account once. Make sure to choose a platform account you’ll always have access to.

Furthermore, if your PlayStation Account has its own Apex Progress, that also won't be transferable, (or mergeable), after linking it to the same EA Account as your Xbox Account, (as mentioned above), so If you are wanting to keep any Apex Progress that was obtained while playing on Xbox and/or on PlayStation, do not unlink the Platform Account from the EA Account that has the Apex Progress that you wish to keep as in doing so can cause problems with your Apex Progress:

    What are the risks?

When you unlink a platform account from your EA Account, you can link it to another EA Account, but your game progress won’t transfer over.

That means you’ll permanently lose access to:

    • game progress
    • DLC, expansions, and anything extra you have for your game
    • memberships and subscriptions
    • previous drops and other rewards
    • in-game purchases.

Unlinking risks for Apex Legends players

If you unlink a platform account that you use to play Apex Legends, you might have issues with Battle Pass leveling, item unlocks, and other errors.

If you haven't already, you can try linking your PlayStation Account to your EA Account using the link below, (just be sure to log into your EA Account with your Xbox Account to make sure that you are logging into the correct EA Account prior to linking your PlayStation Account):

If you are still having issues with linking your PlayStation Account, you would need to contact EA Support as account related issues cannot be directly resolved on the forums, (but do know that EA Support won't be able to recover any Apex Progress that was lost as a result of Cross Progression, unlinking Platform Accounts, etc.):

    Hopes this helps!
