Yeah this is insane. Found like 9 items earlier. 2 stacks of 20 light and heavy. Multiple sight attachments. No gun. Not sure if I had armor or not. How do I find all these different locations where theres loot and I dont have A SINGLE GUN AND ONLY 40 AMMO TO MY NAME? Stacks of ammo should be more than 10 and there should be guaranteed guns in every building or at least a higher chance
Very frustrating trying to play this game when the enemy always has rare shields and you're stuck with absolutely nothing. This game could be 10x better with such simple changes but they just dont have common sense or dont even play their own game
If I adopt the same method as you guys : I landed in Wetlands a few times yesterday and 2x I landed on purple armor and on the same roof or in the building underneath my feet was a weapon and extended mag. The rest of the time I landed and still found armor and guns but wasn't fully stacked.
Going by your logic - I would have to sit here and argue that we need less loot. Going by my logic I'd say : I had good drops. When I had poor drops I was lucky because the closest team were at the other cluster of buildings in wetlands and we had time to decide whether to ditch or fight. The former is luck and the latter is choice, the secret ingredient after that is skill level and it's variable. If I relied entirely on luck (like people who drop into skulltown every single game) and my skill to make up the difference : I'd be screwed in far more games than I am.
Everyone has good and bad drops, but if you're consistently finding you've not got what you need for a fight : the fight has happened too quick for your skill level and/or you've been unlucky in my opinion. At 500 hours it's probably the latter : but the price we pay for any variety in the loot is the chance that RNG will smile as we get pasted by someone fully stacked while we're still trying to equip the 2-4x scope onto our shield battery to macgyver a bomb.
Someone like Shroud will complain because he has a business where people tune in to see him pwn. He has customers who require an explanation when he drops and dies, and his expectation is determined by knowing that in 99.99999999999999999% of the fights he's involved in : if skill was all that matters, he should have won. The best game for someone like shroud is where 2 red spheres shoot laserbeams at each other which kill with 1 shot and are hitscan as it would be nothing but skill.
Are you really in the same boat? :P I'm not.
P.S - more than 1000 hours here last time you quoted 500 hours, I don't know what I'm at now. I can tell you're not new to the game or to gaming, everyone else can. An argument from authority doesn't work though.

When everyone disagrees with you, you know you're wrong. Every drop has terrible loot

@TperodactylJust like Galileo, right?
When you're wrong you're wrong. Truth and accuracy aren't determined by how many people believe the statements.Way to go, addressing ANYTHING I said, by the way 😛 Such convincing arguments. I'll change my mind and agree with you.

RNG isn't unfair, it holds no biased lol. Just say a quick prayer on the way to ground and hope for the best. :D

There's plenty of proof the loot systems suck whichever logic you choose.
At least the Evo shield is a step in the right direction, make everyone drop with the evo shield and 2 weapons freely choosen before the game starts, a stack of light ammo but no ammo for the other weapons types, and make looting focus on ammo, healing and attachments
It will reward early fights and late game fights alike, but make mid-game a little more focused on replenishing ammo and health.
Also remove the blue and purple shield and keep the legendary one at vaults and a few randomly in the world, and keep the 2bar white shield.
There's some fun in RNG-lootbased systems, but not when it works like it does in Apex. But the movement combined with the hectic battles are fun as hell and require both skill and fast reflexes. But the loot system isn't fun, and that's what needs improvement(+ the servers may need a buff xD).
I dont even think it's fun the times I drop in to an early fight and find purple and high-tier weapons and "own" 2 squads equipped with low-tier loot which either try to fight or run away for better loot,
And someone like Shroud voices his opinion after he knows every in and outs of the game. I'm sure he has complained in rage when he dies, but he's had serious discussions about all the games he have played and shouldn't just be dismissed as nonsense.
At least that's my opinion!

I have up to 1000+ game hours, and i agree loot system is bad, recently i played Warzone and the loot is pretty good, there's loot everywhere, but apex is just bad, sometimes i search in two or three buildings and there's no armor, no ammo, no weapons, they need to increase the loot spots in every zone and only reduce the legendary stuff spawn ratio, or put a limit, like the gold armor, only 3 per game or something.
