MAJORLY NERF MASTIFF (Season 8)

Either put the damn Mastiff into a care package with the other weapons you don’t know how to properly balance or actually majorly nerf it because the last ‘’nerf’’ didn’t fix a damn thing... Im sick and tired of the mastiff meta literally every single team has at least 1 if not 2-3 of them and if someone has a mastiff and you don’t... will its not going to end well for you in most scenarios 

i picked up a mastiff yesterday and had 7 kills in 2 minutes,it was my first game using a mastiff in weeks... The overall damage output needs MAJORLY NERFED... you can still do 40-60 damage at mid range-long range... a shotgun shouldn’t even do any damage realistically at these ranges

23m I hit 54 damage

34 m 39 damage

50 m still 26 damage... what the hell

* My biggest issue with the mastiff if that it requires NO SKILL to use... just spam spam spam a wide range of bullets

In reality I want some weapons removed from the game to switch up the meta, you can use the excuse ‘’we can’t remove weapons because players own skins for these weapons’’ but that doesn’t mean that you cant have peacekeepers as groundloot on kings canyon and mastiffs as care package weapons, but mastiffs as ground loot in worlds edge and peacekeepers in the care packages, etc it would really switch up the meta on each individual map and spice up the game vs every map seeing everyone with a R-99 and Mastiff, Mastif and Wingman, etc

i understand this solution won’t fix the overall problem because everyone will just switch to R-99/Peacekeeper or Peacekeeper/Wingman, etc but its better them dieing to a mastiff every single game because its such an unfair weapon and requires absolutely no skill to use

Similiar but off topic, majorly nerf the hemlok too... the -2 damage didn’t change a thing and its still the strongest weapon in season 7

    @BrainDeadWraithsHonestly dosnt matter what weapon, someone has mastiff and you don’t... well its not going to end well what pisses me off the most is picking a mastiff up and doing 50+ damage at range my teammate earlier was terrible movement and just spamming a mastiff and knocking players down 40m away XD 2 days in a row Ive had to quit playing and play another game over the damn mastiff it requires no skill just spam spam spam I’ve started picking one up myself but I don’t enjoy the game playing with or against a mastiff

    @FaIIenAngeI777 Same with me, I stopped playing. Its a Mastif and 99 meta. I cant stand that 80-90% of fights are a 99 spray fest and then add the Lifeline auto res. Nah, gave up on it.

    The mastiff is literally ruining the game. The thing needs to be either nerfed (which the last one did nothing at all), or put back into the care package. I’ve never ever complained about the PK because it actually took skill to use properly. It’s making me want to quit the game entirely.

    @V01dPlays no. the pk was overpowered as hell. both of these weapon needs a major rework or nerf, especially the pk if it ever gets put into ground loot again

    I’ve been playing since day 1 and I found it to be balanced. It was powerful in the right hands, especially with the choke, but it took good aiming to get the most output. I never complained about the shotguns till the mastiff was put on the ground. Everybody is running around with one nowadays and it’s so annoying, you can’t win up close unless you have one yourself, or if the shooter is a potato.

    I also think mastif should be nerfed in power.
    It should be around 95-80 at close range.
    Or maybe reduce the capacity, or increase the extended magazine for the shotgun by 3 shots.
    At lvl 3 you can barely get 6 shots, and the drop rate for parts could be less.

    @FaIIenAngeI777 Yes I'm sick and tired of being 2 tapped by any mediocre player with a mastiff from full purple or even red to ZERO. it's so frustrating. if you get rushed by a mastiff in your face you are already dead. rediculous. its not a ground weapon. put it back in a care package.
