Make the Alternator viable

How about putting the alternator is the care package with disruptor rounds then you will be able to take the prowler out and then all of the smg will be able to compete with each other instead of the alternator just being used as a backpack for my light attachments

I just feel already having 2 light Smgs out there and not having any heavy smgs is kinda silly and red alternator in the care package with disruptor rounds makes it a really good smg that people are gonna want to take and putting the prowler back as ground loot makes every single smg viable and player preference actually matters

  • currently, the only "viable" gun (mean the only gun you should be using) is the trilogy: R99 - Volt - Mastiff. Putting it into the care package won't solve the core problem which is almost every other gun is garbage compare to them.

@KissYourHomieUwU And then as soon as a weapon is as good or better it gets nerfed because the 99 sweats can't cope with another gun being as good or better. Its a no win situation.
  • Hey,

This is a great idea! Alternator-vly (hahahaha get it? Man, I need to get out more), they could make it so that the Alternator can be charged with shield cells, just like the Sentinel! RE-45 can be included too.

If they can balance out the shield cell cost per magazine, they can really get a nice weapon going! The time would be limited but yet it would feel powerful. Plus, I mean the charge up time is enough to get you killed (assuming it is equal to the Sentinel charge time).

Now, as far as charge goes, this can either be "Disruptor" like how it was back then, or it can be a flat damage increase (my preference) so that it feels strong even in early-game.

    :D

@BrainDeadWraiths I have no idea where you even got that number from, I don't think I have ever suggested a specific number for the Alternator.
