Matchmaking is broken!

So I play with two of my friends and we play mostly Pubs. We are gold level players. Never climbed above gold 1. And yet, in pubs, we keep betting annihilated by players with 4k, Master/Predator ...

@MariusRZR90 Agreed. What they should do is in public 3's and 2's, Platinum and below ranked are in one lobby, and diamond and above are in another lobby. If the diamonds and above can't get enough in the lobby then they go played ranked.

I found an easy fix for this problem 🙂
I stopped playing the game. Been a week since my last game and I really don't miss it. Started reading The Expanse each evening and it's awesome

Some experience from my side and thing I will look into during the remainder of this season.
Lately, I have been up till quite late playing the game - 3 sometimes even 4 am.
Most of the days at 11 pm, definitely after midnight following happened:
1) number of higher-ranked players/lobbies significantly increased - I would assume this has to do with kids going to sleep
2) number of players in Platinum+ lobbies significantly decreased - normal people just sleep at this time not play Apex 🙂
Thus I started switching from EU servers (my timezone) to NA (given at my 3/4 am they just have midday).
My findings so far:
NA servers rarely have any issues with a number of people - plenty to play vs
Apex somehow manages to give good experience with pings up to 150, used to play FPS games where above 100ms was not playable = you saw enemies too late, died behind walls, players lagged aka teleported, none of that is happening in Apex, honestly, sometimes I need to be reminded that I play in NA as it feels pretty much as smooth as EU with ping 50-80
Lobbies are easier or maybe SBMM is just working better there or even giving me an advantage e.g. I was literally stuck between P4 and P3 while playing with discord people in EU for ~ week, yesterday I played significant time in NA and went from P3 (0 points) to almost P1 in under 3h, we even won two games in a row which I can't recall happening with me even in pubs as SBMM usually puts you in nightmare lobby after a win
Not SBMM related topic - while being 3shoted with wingman constantly in EU server yesterday (one of those days 😬) and facing somewhat fishy players in NA I did not experience any of that, during 3h play I had maybe 1 team that might have had wallhack or it was just me lagging for them or vice versa. Somehow I felt that EU people hack more and/or we are joined with players from the Asia region that are notoriously known for hacking in this game (where is my "stop Asian hate badge").
