So I play with two of my friends and we play mostly Pubs. We are gold level players. Never climbed above gold 1. And yet, in pubs, we keep betting annihilated by players with 4k, Master/Predator and 20 Bomb Badges. Fair, right?My stats: Level 200< 1.08 KD/R, 3.3% Win rate, 2.8K maximum damage ever!. Why do I keep getting in the same lobbies as all these other guys? I mean, what even is the point of this Skill Based Match Making system if it is this broken! I counted 3 masters and 1 predator landing at EsI understand that high level players may have issue finding lobbies, but this is just ridiculous. I am enjoying this game less and less and I'm pretty close of abandoning it completely. It's just anti-fun.I understand that this is a competitive game. Just don't say the matchmaking is skill based. It CLEARLY isn't. And I was in a couple of lobbies with LG_ShivFPS and ACEU at one point. Not sure why he was playing on EU Region. Good, solid matchmaking

It goes both ways. My kd is 6.5 avg. 9/10 games i get matched up with 2 people who are below lvl 100. Have no idea what they r doin..Champion squad is full pred/masterPeople i kill are all diiamond or master and i always get killed by either master or pred.Either way the matchmaking is a pile of garbage.But iv been here for 10 seasons and 1 thing i learned is that its all useless. They wont change anything to benefit the quality of the game. Just adding more stuff for more skins for more ingame purchases .

@MariusRZR90I also had the warlord in my lobby a week ago (bangalore with 141367 kills).Honestly, I don't mind getting a few epic tier players once in a while. But they just keep coming. Even when I'm having a horrible streak with very few or no kills, the 4k dmg badge players seem to be in almost every lobby, including bronze ranked by the way.Sometimes the average or below average players just need a break from getting destroyed. That's why so many randoms are toxic, leave early, run away to certain death, etc. I'm not proud of it but I also tend to leave more frequently when I'm having one sweaty lobby after the other. You can't expect me to stay in every lobby getting fried when my k/d of that day is already lower than 0.25.

I'm with you. Hot dropping and getting immediately lasered to death in your first fight over and over again is a horrible experience. I do what you do when I'm on runs like that, I mute my squad and bail. The game somehow thinks I'm better than I actually am and I don't expect Respawn to ever give a straight answer on how the matchmaking system actually works.

Yeah. Maybe not advertise it as Skill Based if it's this broken.
I understand the occasional Diamond in my games, but anything above that is just stupid.
I got in the same Lobby as LG_ShivFPS for crying out loud.

This has been an issue right from the start.
I created a topic here a few weeks after the implementation of SBMM, but I don't think they care at all about their playerbase.

@MariusRZR90 I am reading about matchmaking being broken a lot on this forums - seems like an ongoing thing.

At the same time to play devil's advocate I would like to say:
- you can't complain about high skilled players being present in what seems public games, public always has been like that because it is free for all rather than BR, if this happens in ranked, another story
- if pro players can get 20 kill game = 1/3 of the lobby, there is quite a high chance that you will be killed by such skilled player because he/she will kill 20! players per lobby. Point here - there might be not many high ranked players but they will kill a lot of lower ranked players, because they can. So matchmaking maybe is actually ok and adds only 2-3 players like that which still yields a result of them killing all of the lobby
- people complain about so many things but when you see their gameplay e.g. standing still while looting, not being aware of their surrounding and from where enemy should come, no wonder you get 1 shot Kraber in head, its as easy sometimes in game as in firing range and it has nothing to do with matchmaking, get you basics of the FPS game right 🙂
