mixtape map rotation

I don't know where to begin and I don't even think this will have any impact, but I just couldn't hold it in anymore. Yes, this is a rant about map rotation of season 18 (can't even say split 1 anymore). This season's map rotation is the worst. I'd be okay with it in general because I consider myself as a casual player, but even the mixtape maps are awful, AWFUL... I'm pretty sure you already have tons of feedback about BR map rotation so I'm not even going to bother, I'll stay on the mixtape map rotation topic.

Last season Phase Runner got added to TDM map rotation, I mean who thought a huge map like that would be a good fit for TDM? You don't even have a decent vision of the map because of the trees, you just can't find people. By the time you hear shooting and start to run there, it's already over. Habitat was good, overflow was decent, but this? This was the worst map of last season and you kept it? I'd say "I really wonder about the thought process behind this" but I'm pretty sure there isn't one, especially if you consider Respawn's communication with the game's playerbase lately.

And what about the broken moon maps that are added for control and TDM/gun run? the core as a TDM map? where people just camp middle and you have nowhere else to go? imagine a map where the first team getting the center with a control legend (oh they are so fun to play against in casual game mode btw, definitely not ruining the flow of the game!) wins the game. You just run and die when you arrive. For gun run, it's whatever since the balance of the core changes a lot because of the 3v3v3v3, but for 6v6 it's always one-sided. And especially when you add the new season's terrible matchmaking to the mix (where it's basically a coin flip to be in the winning team), games are not fun anymore.

I'm not even going to mention Production Yard. All the control points need to be changed, but until you do that it's going to be out of rotation anyway (probably around season 23 lol).

Boring meta + bad matchmaking + bad rank system + nothing truly fresh added to the game in the past year + audio issues and bugs, and on top of all these bad map selection... this is just ruining the game. I'm not having fun like I used to a year or two ago. Two seasons ago when we didn't have a new legend but got the mixtape was a decent season in general. That being said, It's really sad to say it but I think if you stopped developing the game around season 13 it might've been a more entertaining, fun and competitive game.
