OK. I have been back playing this game quite alot recently and have come to the conclusion that it is absolute garbage. Not only does it literally not work. No regs are still an issue and the server tick rate is so low that i just have to pray my shots actually land on anyone moving or with high ping. It also has some of the most cringy character design in a game i can think of. You can tell it was made by a bunch of upper middle class white people who think they are woke. Bangalore is pedantic and awful. Constantly spouting military *. I wonder how much the us govt paid EA to have this walking ad in the game, or if the devs are just * who watch war movies and *. Lifeline is like someone looked up patois on wikipedia and just copy pasted some phrases. It's as fake as miss cleo and is almost equally as offensive. Loba is Male Gaze: the character. Revenant is a preteen edgelord power fantasy. Octane is a goddamn social media influencer Etc Etc... The game is also made with a minimal amount of resources as to maximize the profit they can make. That is why they will never upgrade the servers or provide actual content and the moment it starts losing profitability, they will shut the whole thing down without a thought and all the money you spent will be used by ea executives as emergency toilet paper.

You are like the couple of people in the community that thinks the devs don’t have a life outside of their jobs, they did all of this from home and people like you try to ruin it. All I see is complaining about the game and how it’s “broken”. Explain how, I have never ran into a bug unless it’s server issues which I don’t really care about. People like you over exaggerate the whole time on how somethings bugged, like the footstep audio but I don’t hear people complaining about it outside of here. Literally dramatic. Quick Edit: You hate the micro transactions because you feel like they are too “expensive” but yet games like Cod, which you HAVE to pay for, gets a “Oh they can get away with this because they aren’t expensive” even though it’s the same thing to Apex, which is a FREE TO PLAY GAME which has micro transactions the same as any other gameAnother Quick Edit: The legends are “cringy”? You said that they were made by middle class “white people”. Oh I hear the offensive bell ringing. You can’t assume people’s race by color first of all, the legends aren’t cringe, and the last time I checked there wasn’t only one race on the team. @Sylvester9991 If all you see is people complaining about a topic then maybe there is something to their argument. I don't agree with anything that dude said so don't lump me in with him. I just think what you said is stupid and your white knighting. The sound in this game has had issues since forever. Thats a fact and anyone who says different doesn't read the forums and doesn't play this game more than one match a week. IT happens A LOT. The skins are expensive. 20 dollars is 1/3...thats 33.333333% of a game. That means after the purchase of 3 non game changing cosmetic items is equal to an entire blockbuster game like the new ff7 remake. Which for less than 20 bucks gave you music, ps4 backgrounds and new summons to be used in game. Not a couple bikinis for Tifa to wear and you can't even see them when you are playing. I for one want people to love this game and fight for it being better. You on the other hand have openly said all they see is complaining, but deny such bugs exist as if all thos e people are lying and your the only one telling the truth. Sorry but that logic is insane AF. DO you dislike game updates and polished gameplay? "I don't care about the server issues" So you admit they have them? Sounds more like you have a romantic crush on respawn and are white knighting cause you think respawn is going to let you get to 3rd base if you do. I like how you brag about this game being free to play with micro transactions, but what the F is micro about 20 bucks a pop?

@MoNosDirtyGamingI might not notice it. I’m used to the audio. I know when there’s an enemy behind me because I can hear the footsteps. I can’t really tell the difference. So I can’t say if it’s a bug or not because I do see those everywhere else. It might be because I am using the audio through my tv instead of a headset

@Warbizzle1 How is this a 350+ hour review? Sylvester9991 and Luxxtenbri both wrote like 3 times this amount in a couple of hours.

@Sylvester9991 Yeah that must definitely be it, I use astro's and I can't even hear someone walking/running 2 feet behind me until its too late. Only ever had this issue sometime towards the start of the games launch and again after season 5 started. I feel as though it is because guns sound fx are conflicting with the footsteps sound fx.

@Sylvester9991 I would say that the footsteps audio is very broke at this point. Whole squads running up directly behind you and you don't hear any footsteps audio because the sound fx breaks randomly for some weird reason.

@Warbizzle1You ever ran a game of this magnitude? You understand the server loads that just america would take in? You understand the server loads that are in other countries? No regs for me have been fixed minus one issue yesterday where 6 mastiff bullets went completely through a mirage head.

The arguments you make here are beyond baffling. Why are you comparing legends to social media? Why are you comparing bangalore to united states military? (She is swat iirc)

The game is free you call it garbage yet here you are on forums because well you like the game obviously.... Why would a game with such a player base even remotely think of shutting down?

Just because the game is not designed how your entitled self expects it to hand you does not mean its garbage.

The characters were well thought out but only by marketing people with the goal of having the broadest appeal. It all comes off as cynical propagandist pandering to children who don't know any better. I don't blame the devs as much as EA and the whole corporate mentality behind games as a service. The game was made as cheaply as possible using existing titanfall resources and is maintained as cheaply as possible, yet they will charge insane amounts for crappy skins and have added little to no content in however long it has been out while still expecting you to buy a grindy, uninspired battle pass every 90days because if you don't they will just kill it and fire the poor devs who they exploited to make it. Having such * netcode in 2020 is a joke and nobody will ever take the game seriously unless they fix it but it would cost too much and eat into that delicious profit so ea will never do anything about it. Preferring instead to just let the game slowly die while they suck every last dime from it's desiccated corpse.

@Warbizzle1Not really. (At least with the character thing). It really doesn't come off as a "cynical propagandist pandering to children who don't know better." That implies to me that you are a little too cynical yourself.
Edit: Just wanted to add, you have great writing skills. Your word choice is very diverse, and detailed, as well as a little dramatic.
