NERF caustic Traps
If caustic gets downed, his traps should deactivate. I shouldn't have to fight his traps after he is downed.

@Dalepeople Learn to shoot the base of caustic traps to deactivate them... they used to start at 5-6 ticks and ramp up to 10-12 damage per tick but they were just recently nerfed to stay at a steady 5 damage per tick
Yup. I hear you on that. The problem I have is when Caustic uses a trap to block a door, and his team is inside healing up hiding behind his trap after he is down.You can't shoot down the traps through the door. So you have to send a grenade at the door and wait for the traps to finish spewing gas and face his the rest of the team fully healed. Kind of an OP move from my POV.

Yeah, YOU have that problem. Just teach to play against Caustic instead of complaining on forums. Caustic already has nerfed to the ground because of complains, and you, guys, still complaining.

Defensive legend is good at defending a point.
That's the whole point of a defense legend.

Absolutely not.
Almost every casutic player is fine with gas doing low damage, we would rather have the slow and blind back from before they decided to swap it to a damaging trap type instead of the intented original CC skill. We need more CC in the game to counter aggressive pushing.
You can blow up the door. I think the only reasonable way to nerf him is to lower total active traps limit
@QuadeYeet If you blow up doors the trap will go off, you shoot the trap it will go off. And the total traps he can place is only 2! Caustic is fine right now and needs no nerfs after the last nerf he got.
@crazydoggy16 He can have up to 6 active trap. I don’t really think he needs a nerf either but if they do nerf him in this way he can still be used effectively. He just won’t have the total indoor dominance. He can cover a whole building in traps I thing he should be able to have 4 active traps.

A - Have you considered killing the downed Caustic? The traps dissipate once the Caustic is killed.
B - The Caustic trap doesn't cover the entire door, you can still shoot into the room. And if you're too scared to take some damage, just throw some grenades.
C - Cut him some slack, his passive is a joke, his traps have been nerfed into oblivion, and he's useless outdoors. I think we can give him one slight advantage in a very situational position.
