Nerf the Charge Rifle - PLEASE I BEG YOU
This thing is unholy brokenly overpowered. As much as i like using it, I also cannot stress out how much this thing destroy the fun for me when i'm getting shot by this and also to the other player ...

@iBlockHead I have gotten far more kills with this weapon compared to the number of times I have been killed by it, and I would consider myself an average player. So I don't really understand all of the complaining coming from people saying they are always dying from it. If you are always dying from it, it is probably because you aren't playing smart and consistently putting yourself in situations where you are out in the open.
This community sometimes sounds like a broken record... "Nerf this. Nerf that. Nerf, nerf, nerf..." If they nerf this gun, then they are going to have nerf another gun which will then be considered the most powerful gun. And before you know it, all of the guns in the game end up being trash and people stop playing because none of the weapons are fun to use anymore.
How about instead of nerfing everything, they just buff some of the underpowered weapons to make them more viable?

If the average player can just pick this weapon up and begin to drop bodies left and right, does that not indicate something is wrong with the weapon because of how easy it is to use and get kills with it?
I rarely agree with any nerfs or buffs and just stay on the side that says get better. But this gun in every way possible is just broken. No bullet drop? Infinite range? Hit scan that tears off shields in 1 shot?
From the moment you spot someone, they are pretty much considered dead because of how deadly the weapon is in anyone's hands. This should not be the case, like the Longbow or any other sniper,or gun for that matter, there should be some skill in using this weapon but there isn't.
You have not even brought up a reasonable argument to why you think it isn't overpowered so until you do so, your opinion on this matter will go on deaf ears.

- @iBlockHead LOL. You only picked apart half of what I said, so let me explain the other half for your understanding. If I'm just an average player wouldn't you agree that I would also die more by it compared to other more skilled players?
I got into a few different fights tonight against squads that had a charge rifle, and even with taking shots from it we still managed to defeat every squad. Why? It's all about playing smart and not leaving yourself in vulnerable positions.
So by your logic, if this gun doesn't require any skill to use and is so deadly like you insist, shouldn't I be losing every single gunfight against someone who has a charge rifle, especially since I am just an average player?I'm a good player and I die to average/below average players using charge rifles because it takes significantly less skill to use than any other weapon. I would rather fight a team where 3 people all have Krabers than a team where 1 guy has a charge rifle.
- @IAmTheMeddler I'm pretty decent at the game with how I made my way to diamond through soloing in squads. I know how overpowered the gun is because obviously anyone using it will get more kills with it than being killed by it.
You say it's about playing smart and not leaving yourself open, but when a gun has a hitscan capability, you can't really maneuver yourself into a good spot as the initial shot slows you down, making you an easier target to hit if you run out in the open. I've played this game since day 1 and know all about good strats and how to judge every engagement I'm in but the new charge rifle makes that an almost impossible dream.
Pushing players who are just lasering you with it is just not ideal nor is being the only one on your team using it vs 3 others who get their shots in. This gun takes 2 shots to down any player with lvl 3 armor. One shot alone rips the whole armor apart.
Also saying something like, "shouldn't I be losing every single gunfight against someone who has a charge rifle, especially since I am just an average player?" does not really help your point. Even I can pull out ontop using a Moz. A gun that everyone thinks is garbage.
I say again, bring up a valid reason as to why the gun should not be nerfed and than we'll have a decent discussion here. So far it seems as though you just enjoy using the gun because of how OP it currently is. I too enjoy mowing down enemies but even I can see that it's too easy to use and for being a sniper, it's pretty much around the same as the PK was pre-patch when you could sniper players from across the map with the choke.- @iBlockHead I'm giving you just as valid of a reason as you are, because both of our reasoning is based on our opinion. You cannot quantify opinions.
@BrazzerHunger Yes, I do know how to use every gun in the game and can get kills with every gun in the game. And I think my 2+ k/d helps to indicate that I am not some scrub at the game who can finally get kills because of the charge rifle. I still regularly use the triple take, but if I come across a charge rifle I am going to use that because it is more fun to use.
But all of this aside, everyone who is complaining about this gun can finally put a smile back on your face since Respawn announced a nerf will be coming for this gun
