Peacekeeper is Broken after Testing Shotgun Headshot Damage by Meters
Yeah, I know there are PK nerf threads already. However, I've been testing all weapons in Firing Range to see which weapons lose their Headshot Multiplier. For those that don't know, yes. Weapons in this game actually do lose their Headshot Multiplier after a certain distance. This doesn't include Assault weapons which will always have their 2.00x headshot multiplier.
As for shotguns, the shotguns in Apex Legends lose their headshot multiplier at 38+ meters. What this means? It means any shotgun that lands a headshot at under 37 meters will get their headshot multiplier. Including the Mastiff! Anything over 38+ meters will become a 1x headshot multiplier which means any pellet that lands on the headshot will become a bodyshot damage.
WAIT! This thread is about the Peacekeeper being broken though? YEP! You guessed it. Peacekeeper doesn't lose its headshot multiplier at all. This means if someone shoots a PK at you from 100+ meters or whatever. They will get the Peacekeeper's headshot multiplier on you if the pellets hit you in the head.
Well now, that is simply just BROKEN.
Remember now, the Mastiff is a Legendary Shotgun weapon and will lose its headshot multiplier at 38+ meters just like any other shotgun in this game.
Peacekeeper needs a serious nerf.
Test it out for yourself in Firing Range. Get a shotgun with a Bruiser and grab a Kraber or a Sniper with a 10x scope to measure the meters before you shoot.
