Peacekeeper is too Strong

Peacekeeper has been the most powerful weapon since season 1 for several reasons.

1. Its super easy to use, you can just wait to aim slowly and hit 80 to 110 per shot, or even the 165dmg lucky shot, or you can just jump and aim fast and hit 60-80 dmg per shot.

2. Its a High reward low risk weapon, because of the insane damage and 6 bullets you can push an entire squad by yourself and win with one magazine,

3. The dispersion of the bullets is practically non existant on hip fire, you can run and hit 80-100 dmg easy in a 15-20meters range and if you have the choke the range increase to 60 or even more meters.

4.it's a common weapon and you can easily find it everywhere, its almost as good as the mastiff.

Origin: HNG_Audiophile

I used peacekeeper and i won several fights only because i have it, even 1vs3 because it's just ridiculous.

Proposed Nerfs

1. Reduce the projectile damage by 3. body: 77, headshot-132, leg-55, and increase dispersion by 30% and leave the other parameters the same this will increase the risk of using it and decrease the one shot kill even with blue shield.

2.Or Increase the dispersion by 75% percent and leave dmg the same, this will increase the risk and force the user to get closer to get a good shot and not only shot from the distance, something like the gears of war shotguns (high reward high risk)

3. Reduce Magazine to 3 and increase bullet dispersion by 25%, this will change the pk to almost a double barrel shotgun,  high risk, High reward,  because now the PK is just a Mozambique with 6 hammerpoint rounds.

I'm pretty good don't misunderstand, i win fights only because i have a PK and i felt awful, dirty... and i was waiting for someone to post something like that, and i really don't care, the purpose of this BR type of games is be competitive, but can't be if still exists weapons like Pk and the new charge rifle, if someone asks for a nerf it's because if you use that weapon, ability, whatever is broken...you have higher chance to win agaisnt who doesn't have it, and in a game like Apex where RNG is the king, the Developers need to put some balance to everything, if you don't want nerfs, it's because you like Op things and i don't blame you, they're are fun, and give you a false sensation of being good and once those things got nerfed you get hopeless and reminds you how bad you are.

The peacekeeper is far from over powered.
    Some people are just good.
And some people just think they are good.
That pathfinder that blasted you with that peacekeeper just bested you.
Don't blame the weapon, blame the player.
    Blame yourself!

Sure one 154 dmg hit is pure skill, with a Pathfinder that can get close to you in a blink, and yeah the guy is pretty good that's for sure, but there's my point, with really good players in games like this, weapons like PK are super OP, because in higher ranks people don't miss a shot, and almost everyone have the same skill level, and the only thing that can put the balance to one side is the weapons and armor you use, in my case, purple shield and a r-99 against a Pathfinder with same shield and a peacekeeper, was a close range battle i destroy his shield and he was 44 hp and i was 154hp, that was a good situation for me, i tried to take out my wingman and finish the guy when he land the second shot.

if the other player can change this type of situation for his favor with one single shot, there's something wrong.

I forget to say that kind of things only happen on Season 3 with the pellets size increase, sure in last seasons PK wasn't that powerful, because was pretty hard to get those high damage shots and was a pretty good weapon, but now it's just ridiculous.

You got to learn how to play differently.

    There are 2 meta.

The close-range skirmish high burst damage meta: Peacekeeper, R99, Wingman.

Then there is the second meta.
The mid-range sustained fire meta: R301, Flatline, Spitfire, Havoc.

You have to use both to win.

Sometimes its best to open up a Flatline at mid range, to rip their shields off then push close to kill them.

Skirmishing full health enemies at close range is dangerous!

If you meet a high burst damage weapon like the R99 or PK,

it can be over in a seconds.

But these are close range weapons, so they excel at their intended ranges.

I suck with the PK and R99, so I stay away from close range until I break the enemy shields.
Then I push in for the kills.
If you have put a little sustained fire on the pathfinder initially, that pathfinder would have been dead on your push.
If that pathfinder pushed you, you should have ran, or abused local cover.

    And anyways!

You was skirmishing with the R99!

    You missed your second burst!

    Its your fault you died!

If your second R99 bust would have fully landed, you would have gotten the kill!

From you damage it looks, like you got the second shot off first, but missed half you clip!

    Its your fault!

Also the R99 bust DPS is much higher than the Peacekeeper!

    So... Its your fault!

Dude you just don't run away from a Pathfinder, it's even worst if he has a PK, and in a 2m range he just can shoot you from behind and kill you with no effort, you are just putting ideal situations, i was on a building, the pathfinder use his grapple to climb up and push, (another thing, the grapple is too quiet and sometimes you cant hear it) if i tried to run i was putting myself in a easy shot situation, that's not a good move, you're only trying to blame people decisions, and not the gun, the gun is OP 165 top dmg is too much, sure you can outplay people in some cases, but there are situation when the only thing you can do is fight and i was having the advantage in this fight but i repeat one 154 shot is too much. Pk is probably getting A Nerf someday, the gun is too strong and it's a easy kill option, things got nerf in games because people abuse of those things, and people right now are abusing the PK and the Charge Rifle.

I didn't missed "my second burst", is just one burst separated by some missing shots, sure i didn't got the full damage of the R-99 but i got pretty decent damage 156 dmg with one magazine is pretty good to finish this fight with the second gun.
