Ok ! I used my ultimate abilty on enemies they were in open field i cud see them clearly with drone it detected them too i used my ultimate . Immediately they dropped out their shields and re wore it after the attack was finished. Wow bang 0 damage to enemies. And a good team maintains a distance of more than 40 ms before attacking with crypto's drone. And meanwhile they'll push by the time the enemy will be moving normally and shields too unaffected 🙂. Fix it devs

@NmRc_DEATh That is just smart and quick thinking on their behalf. Wouldn't make sense to start "nerfing" smart tactics.

@NmRc_DEATh I don’t believe that it needs fixed. As Meddler said, it is smart tactics. If you want to drop your armour and then equip it again before getting sprayed off the enemy you have to be super quick. Anyone who can pull that off will have to be pro. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m not brave enough to drop my armour.

It's annoying to see people drop their shields before they get hit. They can't do it all the time though. I EMP two different squads fighting each other many times, just to lower them by 50 and fight. The downside to this is they kill each other faster or have time to loot the person the managed to kill thanks to my EMP helping them in their small gun fight.

Sometimes you can't always rush them. I did kill a pathfinder today that had a turbo charger devotion. He downed my Octane and Caustic random teammates. As he downed my Caustic teammate, I had trigger EMP and as I we leaving the drone during the EMP (I'm nearby) I saw him drop his shield. I knocked Caustic with ease still without picking up his shield. I assumed he wanted to thirst Caustic for the Gold Armor. However, I killed Pathfinder so easily because I was Purple vs his normal health. Turbo Charger Devotion or not. I won. Still, it was funny seeing him drop his shield. As for me piloting the drone. I had to because there was 5 people. I had to give my team the info where the enemies were at and it worked. I only had to kill Pathfinder.

Best way to fix this would be for the ult to affect the shields lying on the ground/bins also.

@SomewhatSquishy I’m a crypto main and it’s amazing how often I see people drop their shields. As I said in my previous post “I could be wrong”. Turns out I was wrong. I’ve actually tried it my self a few time’s. 90% of the time I can pull it off, the other 10% of the times I panic and mess it up.

I actually think the EMP needs a buff. By the time we get into the fight the enemy team usually have their shields back up to full so it was a waste of EMP.

I agree, ground shields should be effected, but not damaged. I think the EMP should cause all grounded shields ineligible to be picked up for about 5 seconds. People won’t chance dropping their shields if they can’t pick them back up right away.

Cryptos Ult. vs dropped shield is now fixed according to the patch notes.
Any dropped armor will NOW take damage.

@iBlockHead 'will now take damage' you mean.

Some people still drop their shields but they find it is still damaged. Another interesting thing though is the damage will still be based on that legend hit. For example Low Profile takes 52 damage. If they drop their armor, it is still 52 damage taken.
