I can see where you're coming from being I'm a 100% solo player all the time. But I personally like being paired with duos rather than solos
The solos always go 3 separate ways because they believe they're making the right call or they simply don't trust their teammates to do their part. So the resort to ratting or throwing. When I'm paired with a duo I find it much easier just to stick with them and hope they play well togeter. At least they're both gonna go the same way so it's my choice to follow.
But I do have a proposal I feel would help us both. Solo Q ranked and pubs. No premade squads. We're still put into teams of 3 like normal but everyone is a solo. That's as fair as it gets. 3 random players seeing if they have the ability to come together and cooperate to come out on top. That is a true test of skill instead of allowing players to ride on the back of their friends or 3 stacking sweats who Smurf to have better games.

I still think that 3 stack premade should be allowed. It is after all a team game and I myself have 2 solid friends who play with me just about every Friday and not being able to play with them on my team would not be fair. additionally I have 2 other friends that occasionally play and or fill in when one or both of my other friends cannot make it, so same thing there.
Sometimes it is two of us and we are a premade duo, we try to incorporate the solo player we get assigned either we play to their style and let them take the lead or we try to get them to follow us. This does not always work out.
I do play a lot of solo Q, so when I get matched with a premade duo I try to follow their lead and adjust my style to theirs. When we are all random solo's playing together it is difficult but not impossible to have a good game.
