The recoil nerfs to the 301 have killed this weapon in my eyes
Its base mag size is terrible
Upgraded, its meh at best
Recoil is absolutely killer if you don't have a barrel mod
R99 is EASIER to control than the 301 and that's insane
Factor in faster fire rate, and you have a superior weapon all around
Either the 301 needs a SLIGHT recoil reduction, or the R99 needs more
@Mad_Dog8762The recoil nerf to the R301 was not needed imo. Now the weapon is garbage. It has the effective range of the R99 but with less damage output. No reason to take R301 over an R99, prowler, pk, etc.
R-301 is a odd weapon. The recoil can be wild to control because it kicks to the left and right like a ? mark pattern and that is hard to control.
Not to mention that the damage is way too low. It does 14 damage and is pretty weak for an Assault Rifle. If it did 15 damage, it would be a good weapon.
14 damage to the body and 12 to the leg is actually pretty bad and people will get away and not get one clipped.
R-99 is so good because you can one clip people easily. Easy to control recoil and reloads super fast so you can damage the person again.
