Re: Allow us to opt out of cross play!

@Nino_Z Just got aim assisted a couple matches ago in ranked. 186 in 8 bullets when they had a spitfire. funny how MKB never melt me like controller players do

@Tperodactyl Yeah, I can shoot a controller player with an R-99 first, go through half the mag, and I die to a Spitfire that just started being fired. Very fair and balanced... >_>

Honestly my only issue with the aim assist is guns like the wingman, shotguns and similar locking onto you at close range.

Any other scenario I can deal with controller crap no problems.

But I do understand how other players who work at getting their aim good would be upset with this nonsense mechanic.

Give us the option to opt out of nonsense shooter mechanic.  This is a shooter, you should not be getting help from code.  That is simple enough to understand.

If you play on controller and think you are working like pc players, you are a joke.

And if you use strike packs or cronus, you are just a cheater, shut your stream down, cause when your viewers realize what garbage you are they will opt to watch hillbilly fishing instead.

@Irres169 I don't understand why you think console players are anything close to PC players. You PC people always complain about aim assist when you literally have way better movement than us and just jolt around the map like a flipping maniac. If aim assist is such a problem then just crouch spam cause that's what you PC players love to do.
  • @DreNH17

We complain about Aim assist being in our lobbies because we value individual skill.

I don't care what controller players do in console only lobbies.

If you gave pc players an option to opt out of crossplay 99.9% would opt to play in pc only lobbies.

@Irres169 Not everyone has PC to the Point where it can be just PC people. Crossplay is to get more servers and lobbies going on in the game because without it lobbies would take forever to load and people would stop playing.
  • When console players have an option to opt out and pc players do not have that option, it tells me that pc lobbies would fill just fine either way.

In fact all the pc players who have left due to the Aim Assist issue would probably come back.

    @DreNH17

We played for Months without Crossplay... the European Server were always good filled & I never had a long Queue, even if I would have to wait a Minute... it's much better then this bad Crossplay Server Performance!

We need a "PC Mouse & Keyboard" Server, there's no way around it.

  • @Irres169 You do realize that aim assist is still a thing if someone on a controller plays with a PC. Also there are huge disadvantages to playing a controller in a PC lobby,

But on a different note totally agree xim and strike packs can go to the trash bin
  • I do, one of my ranked trio plays on controller.

His aim is terrible compared to mine.  I just assumed it is because he doesn't use a special controller or strike packs.

  • @Irres169 Then I understand your frustrations. Well for the most part, having consoles infested with unmonitored cheaters (strike packs and xim users) going into PC lobby's is garbage. Getting aim assist in itself isn't the worst, but put that with a strike pack or a xim and I can agree with your point of view.

Besides aim assist, consoles apperently run at a lower frame rate, which also means with the servers low tick rate, its a recipe for getting hit behind cover because console players would shoot, the server catches up, and then just deletes other players because of the delay.

Been times where that feels to be true, as I shot a console user first, broke armor, and almost knocked, and then in a split second I get knocked to their R-99 or Spitfire because they apparently were shooting the whole time or something.

Real fun. I suppose aim assist itself isn't my issue, it's simply those who slap on anti-recoil and other cheats to abuse the aim assist. I even see bullets curve around corners. The bullet trail itself also curves and to the player on the other side, it looks like it went through the wall.

Back before crossplay was added, PC lobbies were just fine in terms of finding matches. Now it's just every other 3rd teammate is on a controller and typically when I get a console teammate they're not using anything but the aim assist and how I can tell is that the way they move and aim looks like they should of been left on console servers.

I often see teams consisting of 1 PC and 2 console users as well. The PC user is usually aimbotting and boosting the console users, but if they get knocked the console players turn into a bunch of Sheilas and mows down the lobby. It's most often seen in ranked though.

I don't get to many curved bullets or latency issues unless it's a slow Mo server. But anti-recoild is real and an issue that never gets talked about because 80% of PS4/5 players have it (in high ranking lobbies). I can imagine that being worst if they join PC lobby.

I decided today to leave a Squad if there is a Console Player in. (except friends & ranked)

respawn, the clock is ticking. 🤡
