Re: Option to disable weapon auto swap

SO MANY TIMES I have died to this terrible mechanic

If I grab a weapon with one already, it should NOT auto switch to it

I had 1 weapon in hand

I wanted to pick up a 301 from someone I just killed

I start getting rushed as I pick it up (it was totally out of ammo BTW)

I pick it up, go to shoot the next threat with a TURBOCHARGED HAVOC

But because I just picked up that weapon, DESPITE IT BEING EMPTY

I whip out an empty weapon to no effect and die because of it

I CANNOT STAND dying to * game-isms

Fix this mechanic

If I want to switch weapons, I WILL PRESS THE KEYS TO DO SO MYSELF
