Re: Settings That Don't Work

3) Yet another proof that no one at Respawn actually plays their own game. How hard is it to understand that muting enemy pings is one thing and totally removing the banner is another?

There are so many small things like this. Also the new class passive of the skirmisher is so stupid. First you get a the next on your screen "look at the package to reveal its content" or whatever it says... Like a casual single player tutorial. When this happens in a fight. it can be both distracting and obstructing. Then you get the big fillable meter around the package that goes through the terrain. So obstructing. Is this a competitive PvP or some casual single player PvE adventure??  GET A GRIP RESPAWN.

4) For pubs and LTMs sure, but for ranked, I see a problem both with the competitive integrity and queue times

@Balladalidila Also when you ping the weapon icon after another legend showed what is in the package, it stays on the screen and blocks your view, so enemy players can easily hide behind the icon and freely shoot at you.

As for #4, they can be on the other teams, unless they're smurphing or cheating.

Yeah I guess #4 is more a problem in higher elos where the active numbers of players are quite few but I would not be surprised if it also would have noticeable effects on queue times also on mid elos. Blocking out the bad players is one aspect of the problem but more importantly; if everyone kept blocking people, the possible ways of forming 20 teams would decrease exponentially.

Ive wrote this before but imagine if player A is blocking player B and D, player B is premade with C and is blocking E, player C is blocking A and is premade duo with F, player D is blocking F and B, player E is blocking A B and C etc etc etc etc then the it would become a huge web of ways that prohibit teams from being formed. Imagine if on average, every player had 50 players blocked among an active player base of like 2000 queuing for matches for the same ranked lobby.. It would be a disaster.

@Balladalidila I can understand how that would become a problem, although I'm not in that high enough ELO to see the effects first hand.

Usually, just waiting 30 seconds before you press ready again be enough to almost guarantee that you wont end up with the same teammates again. I did however play a game with two very toxic premades in a ranked match in gold1 or something. I played some more games, went to eat some food and came back 3 hours later to play some more and after some more matches, I got matched with those two again, now in Plat3 haha. Right away in legend selection, I said something like "you are that premade duo who blamed me for losing even though I did 10x your damage and totally carried you the entire match haha", and they answered "yupp sry for that" and we actually had a good game 😉
