You're far too kind. Zero consideration should be given to the people who authored the original buff and likewise zero consideration should be given to players who have benefited from it for most of this season. They got their free ride and now they can get out of the limo and on to the bus with the rest of us. Though that analogy is faulty because, as you pointed out, they're still the favored children of this game. It's like mom and dad gave one kid two lollipops and the other kid got none. So they took away the second lollipop... but still didn't give it to the other kid. Thanks for nothing, Respawn.
Your analogy makes a valid point. I do not welcome disparity in treatment among players. Your arguments for "getting out of the limo and onto the bus with everyone else" and "equal lollipops for all" are perfectly reasonable.
However, we, as players, must not forget that this game cannot exist without the support of many people behind it. While we point out the shortcomings of the development team and work together to make the game better, we must not lose respect for others.
At the same time, I want to say to the developers that I respect their efforts, but I will not compromise. Please do not disappoint me.
