Reset Abandon Ban Penalty OR at least Cap the Amount of Time

Reset Abandon Ban Penalty.

I honestly believe that its quite extreme that the abandon penalty stacks to the point of having 4400 minutes(3 Days) of a ban from the game with no reset of severity.

I always give my teammates the chance to revive me or wait for my banner to time out.

However, even when we all die, I still use escape and click "Yes, Leave Match" in order to exit back into the lobby.

I only play Ranked with friends or people that I've arranged to play with(predator rank) and therefore after elimination, we move over to the next game and consequently, I have no valid reason for actually abandoning them in-game.

For the last 3 times, I exited too soon even though everybody was dead but the "Team Eliminated" sign hadn't shown up yet(I do the whole action extremely fast), and I still got penalty 12 hours>24hours and now 3 days.

I am all for the penalty because I understand what purpose it serves. But why not ban for 3 or 5 hours and not stack it, what does banning 3 days from the whole game actually do?

I think it's a serious overkill with a completely unnecessary amount of collateral.

Maybe I am wrong.

If anybody from EA or Respawn can help me out personally with the matter that would be appreciated, I do hope to log on with the new patch(Season4) and play with my friends on my main account.

    @dinzoe_ttvI feel like it should either reset every month or every season spit, I don’t play ranked much so only got a 5 min penalty but I still think its dumb that from what Ive heard the penalty keeps increasing but never decreases

    I think it should keep increasing if you keep leaving frequently, but if your leaving like one game a week or less it should decrease during all of the games you play without leaving early

    The reason for this, lets say you left alot after recieving like a 400 min penalty but you finally learned your lesson and quit leaving matches early for weeks but then one game something happened so you had to log off or your teammates didn’t feel like saving you so you left your first match in weeks and recieved a 800 minute penalty or something... for leaving 1 game in a month

    it also seems like ea/respawn would actually listen to us and add a 5 or 10 second timer on the leave button when a penalty will be inflicted on you so you know your getting a penalty if you leave, alot of us leave out of habit as soon as we die and the timer would be a simple solution for this, also they need to make it so you instantly spectate your teammates... and not how you died im sure alot of players just leave and assume there team is already dead but have a gold knockdown shield
