Respawn, did you mess with the guaranteed loot location?

So, me and a friend dropped into the Loot location, it is basically a place that gives you a guaranteed purple body shield sometimes it gives you a Gold one. But the last few times we have dropped there, there hasn't been the purple shield. There have been many youtube videos on this location, and it is ALWAYS a purple shield. But there isn't one now. what happened? Did Respawn delete it? is it a bug from the recent patch that reduced the gold shield spawn rate? What happened, if anyone else is experiencing this, please tell me.

    @Cracjaw450 This isn't new, there were a number of places (top of the tower in the ice spike area) that ALWAYS had a purple shield when this map came out. I've noticed one or two of those 'always' places loses its 'always' after each patch. My guess is the 'always' was their fault with crappy code and they're just silently fixing it w/out letting players know so they don't have to own up to it.
