@SERPENT_DESCEND That would be interesting. You would return back to the totem as a shadow from Halloween and then you can push back in to hopefully get a hit in with the high melee damage. That would be really cool, but it is probably unrealistic ☹️
@NagTheNaggy You might ask, How can this benefits Revenant and his teammates? Well it can be beneficial in so many ways, First of all keep in mind that your enemies won't know for sure if you will turn into a shadow after Dying because you won't have any visual effect clue so turning into a shadow would most likely surprise them (Which adds up to Revenant character and lore). During being a shadow you can either chase down your enemies quickly considering you would have an increased speed and being able to climb faster and higher along with high melee damage or you can use shadow form buffs to reposition. This would be especially helpful in close/medium fights. Also since Revenant is able to use his abilities in shadow form then he can use his tactical on enemies once everyone in the squad is in shadow form (beside silencing the enemies it would also highlight them according to my suggestion) which would make the chase even scarier.
- @SERPENT_DESCEND oh well this is pretty terrible then. Players normally continue firing even after they knock someone, so those last spare bullets would hit you and kill you as a shadow. This is way too complicated and not practical for Respawn to code...
- @NagTheNaggy It would be very helpful and it shouldn't be hard to code but to each their own
- @SERPENT_DESCEND I think it would be better if it sent you to the totem after you died the first time and then you can push back in as a shadow. This would be great because it would let your team push 2 times. Also, if you became a shadow right then and there, a spare bullet or a thermite grenade could kill you just as you become a shadow...
- @NagTheNaggy That wouldn't be bad as long as you can turn into a shadow at will so you and your teammates can use shadow form buffs without having to die
