Rewards for winning Apex

How come there are no rewards for winning the game? I mean what's the point in reaching first place if there are no loot boxes or credits given. Even if you Need to win 2 or 3 matches to get a rewa...

I like that there isn't much pressure to win. Winning feels pretty good if you fight for it but it's not worth it to play like a weeniehutjr, which is not what they want. They want you to take everyfight that is tactically sound and to have a game that feels intense all the way through, at least that's my take. I don't want people to get rewarded for playing like weeniehutjrs and only hiding trying to win by whatever means necessary, aka exploits and cheats.

Hey there, for starters I have no idea what "weeniehutjr" are...
Playing with friends is quite fun we have our tactics and when we are together we mostly manage to eliminate most squads.
The thing is when we finish 3rd or 2nd sometimes we have more kills then the winning team so if you look at the overview me in 2nd or 3rd can get a higher score/reward then the person who actually wins...
That actually changes the dynamics of the game. Right now being a kill hunter trying to catch as many players as possible is more profitable then actually winning. Which makes everything quite meaningless if there is no winning reward 🤷...

Yep, if there is no reward for winning, i guess it's kinda pointless... I've had teamates who said to me "we will play like chickens, spend as much time as we can, so we can get bigger XP"....
I mean, seriously ? wandering around the whole map and hiding jsut to get XP ?
Give us at least something small, like 10 crafting material or something. Give people a reason to kill AND win, not only kill and die....

  Back in cs 1.6 and cod 1-2 there was no reward either and i played * ton of it, so yeah if you play for having most cosmetics from lootcrates this game might not be for you. I just enjoy good gameplay and shooters that's kinda rewarding enough.
  Btw if there would be lootbox for every win I and many others would already have all skins so there would be no progress again.
