Rigged weapon mechanics and Target Comensation

It now seems evident enough for me that the game is somewhat rigged with many different mechanics in play and it varies from server to server.

When playing with controller on PC:

1. On some servers I have very sticky target compensation, but on some servers I can't track enemies to the point that I feel the game is denying me to aim at the target and it also feels like my settings are actuially changed.

2. There seems to be rigged spread. Sometimes my bullets dance around the target and when testing in fire range with same setup, projectiles behave very differently. They don't "dance" around the target.

3. Sometimes when being shot at, my weapon flinch so much that even when having the crosshair right in the target, the projectiles "dance" around the target and it feels like my whole magazine no-regs.

4. Weak players have a tendency to get lucky with how the projectile spread affects them and the spread feels rigged in favor of them toi give them a chance to escape. Bullets "dance" around them.

5. Rigged matchmaking with both player skill and weapon mechanics: Servers have different aim settings, some have stronger target compensation, some gives your weapon more spread, less spread in order to favor players that haven't won in a while.

I'm making this post to see if other players have similar experiences, but I have played since launch and my experience is pretty solid. There seems to be some behind the scenes rigging with server settings with regards to aim and weapon mechanics.

  • @Ingeniekey The matchmaking is rigged. It's called Engagement Optimized Matchmaking (EOMM). EA will put you in insanely hard lobbies or pair you with extremely low level teammates to ensure that you lose after you do well. It's not fun for the the player base and it's a pretty scumbag move but hey, it's EA. As for the settings stuff, I also use pc controller, and I've never noticed any of that tbh.

That's exactly what I've been experiencing. It seems very rigged in the sense that you eventually will get a "easy server" so to speak; a server that you most definitely will win on.
It think they do this mainly to keep player on the game
I heard TSM Viss on twitch talking about the mechanics of EOMM in apex and it made perfect sense to what I was experiencing and my theory about it matched up with what he said.
He said that there is nothing called SBMM and it's just a concept to shroud the real mechanics of the matchmaking which is EOMM.
I think it's made like this because it's probably easier to sell or market a game concept based on skill rather than a rigged and false system based on win//lose rate.
If they take the liberty of having concealed or rigged matchmaking, I don't see any limitations to having some players get "optimized" aim settings over others on some servers as an aid along with the EOMM system to rig them to win. This is what I was talking about in original post about Target Compensation and spread settings feeling either very off or very on point. I have also seen a lot of posts about complaints about controllers on PC and they feel like they are "beamed" down at a faster rate than normal and when they spectate, they probably can see by how they move that they are playing with controller.
What I am mainly talking about is how Target compensation and spread seems rigged from server to server, because it varies from server to server, but about the discussion with how controllers are superior to mouse I will say that: when comparing recoil control and tracking between controller and mouse, the mouse is a laser in comparison and superior at range. The effect of vertical recoil and especially horizontal recoil and added horizontal drift is almost non-existent using a mouse compared to a controller. On some weapons like the Havoc, using a controller at range is almost impossible and useless, but with a mouse I am able to use it just as effective as close range.

  • Tbh I seen it to were I'm a level 69 and I get paired with level 1s and level 10s while my enemies all are ranging on 100s to 500 platinum players apex predators even if i try my hardest to survive and out play the player the game says no and makes then some how win like i had half sheild but full health and had a blue helm and sheild knocks one guy but then the one that has litterly 1hp insta kills by somehow getting lucky in landing a headshot  all bullets no misses while I shoot back at him and unable to land one bullet point blank with the best setup I can have.

  • @IngeniekeyI thought it was only me, one server my aim is godlike and appears to be aimbot and the next 10 servers im terrible then I will have a few decent games in a row not 2k+ but not 100s either and then its like I can’t aim anymore lol it feels rigged but I don’t know I think it depends on the server ping/latency or something

i just don’t understand why sometimes its super sticky and the next minute it feels like im on a higher sensitivity, like 95% of the time the matches feel the same as they usually do I may kill 1-2 people and thats about it but then theres just that one game where everything just magically changes but I feel like that happens when I get demoted to easier lobbies and the opponents arn’t as tough and thats why it feels much easier then it returns to normal
