Server Shutdown, and it gave me an Abandon Penalty

I was in a ranked match in which the server crashed or shut down the match or something of the sort, and I got booted to the main menu. After attempting to load back in, the match was not rejoin-able, and when I made it to the lobby I had a 10 min ban. It's happened before, far in the past, and its just annoying to get told you can't play the game by the game itself for doing nothing wrong.
