I found the feedback quite constructive and not "whiny" at all. OP may be enjoying the mode, but feels there are some areas of the design that could use some tweaks.
How do you feel about the level of difficulty winning as both the Legend and Shadow?
We aren't quiter about everything, i love this mode and i enjoy it, but after playing it we see things that maybe we can change to improve it and make the game mode more enjoyable to every player. In my my case after playing like 25 matches of this game just won 1 time lol
@VeIottaIt’s not. It’s 20 v. 10 at the end, or whatever the numbers are: just like in a zombie movie the humans are outnumbered by the undead: it’s supposed to be easier to win as a shadow and harder as a legend BECAUSE MATH.
The difficullty should be not to annoying or hard as a legend but also not where shadows easily become cannon fooder. killing does grant health and shield however the fact you can just get a unlucky drop on the loot barg and just get a level one armor and a shadow happens to go there and just melee you once is just absurd. I will say the damage makes sense for shadows but only when the final 10 survivors are active. The only way I can see some improve is keep the speed of the shadows or slow them down but give their melee attacks lunges. Nerfing the damage is a bit hard to grasp but I will say this. the more shadows there are the more stonger they become. meaning they won't do much in the beginning but has more shadows introduce the stronger and deadlier they become. Yesterday every shadowfall match I've been in ten survivors are always actvated before the first ring closed due to shadows spawning in from the sky and just keeps on going back to where they die to get their killer. To me spawning shadows a little bit away from their killer and not dropping from the sky at least gives legends a time to breath. I say this because there was always a player in those matches that I killed as a legend but he always drops down and attacks me again and again. I kill them three times before they finally killed me due to the fact that since he kept dying to me, other shadows just bomb rush me. Now I would be fine about their damage and not complain if the shadows didn't drop but spawn somewhere in the ring. The solid fact that once a shadow dies but immediately drops on to you again and again just promotes tunneling and becomes unfun when you need to win as a legend. I luckly did get win as a legend but only due to the fact I play bangalore and smoke the shadows camping the evac ship. Which is another that when the shadows die there isn't any additional respawn second for them they just respawn and camp the evac because if they don't win as legends then why should the the 10 survivors should. It is fun I will admit it but the shadows becomes annoying when they one shot you because you don't have level 2 or 3 armor since they deal 150 damage.
@EA_Blueberry I agree that it is pretty rough to win as a legend. The shadow “spam” is a little ridiculous. Maybe a 5-10 second respawn timer for shadows? Some additional feedback:
1. I already saw people team up before 10 legends are left. Watched a team of 6 legends last night roaming around next to each other when there were still 18 legends left... kind of lame... wish I got a pic of there names, but I insta quit because I got a little ragey... 👿
2. This mode that truly needs the leave penalty added to it. There was a game I was in that had 5 shadows (me included) against 10 legends because everyone quit out the minute they died. People are thirsting that lmg skin hard and not playing for fun.
3. There is another issue with the 20-kill badge? I watched a video last night about it. Seems super lame if you can get the 20-kill badge from this mode though. I got 15 kills last night in it, but I am going to feel dirty as hell if I can unlock the 20-kill badge because of my luck with killing shadows.... It truly cheapens the prestige of that badge in my eyes.
The problem right now is, that it's virtually impossible to win as shadows.
Killed legends usually insta leave after getting killed.
So right now, when the round comes to an end, there usually are about 10 legends left and 6-10ish shadows.
And not the "wanted" 10 legends vs 25 shadows.
So it's impossible to win against legends with an average skill.
Way to solve:
Penalty for leavers after getting killed just like in ranked mode.
This will keep the players in game as shadows.
or make shadows fun to play. *'s boring af and you can jog on if you want me to play as a shadow outside doing the challenges lmao
