@mlane1990 As someone who has the tendency to leave in certain situations, I'll give you my perspective:
- Missing a teammate: this is an instant leave for me because I have an unfair disadvantage to begin with.
- Challenges: I don't really care about them so this one doesn't apply to me as much. I have to admit I wasn't really happy with that Bloodhound scavenger hunt because my Bloodhound teammates didn't care about teamwork whatsoever.
- Bad jumpmaster: If he's really late and multiple teams have landed there before us, I might leave depending on my mood (read: how the matchmaking has treated me the last couple of games).
- Bad teammates: reasons to leave are trash talkers and an insanely large skill gap (such as high tier premades versus my teammates having less than 50 kills combined). In other situations, if my teammates lack skill but they are nice and/or work as a team, I will always try to stay.
- Legend color: this is new to me so I have no idea about this one.
- Poor matchmaking: don't get me started about this one (haha). This one plays a huge role in my leaving behaviour and I will do it more frequently if I feel like I'm not getting a fighting chance for a longer period of time.
- Bad luck: sometimes you get the good loot, sometimes you don't. Can't really complain about this one because it happens to everyone.
TL;DR: If I feel like I have an unfair disadvantage and I'm not having fun, I might leave or will leave depending on my latest apex matchmaking experience. I do agree that leaving should always count as a death.
