As an arachnophob I tried toughing it out, don't shoot them, avoid areas where they are but I cannot.
Thier in the streams I watch, the videos I watch, even on the main splash screen! You cannot avoid them
At the start of the season people would shoot the spiders all the time because it's the new toy. Then they stopped because of the noise it made.
Now people are doing it again to make rotating harder.
I play pubs, if I tell them "don't shoot the eggs pls" they will either do it by accident or on purpose. And even if they listen you can't tell your teammates "don't use this mechanic to conveintly get some ammo and attachments", "don't shoot those eggs to distract them or to cut them off while rotating" it's frustrating and limiting.
I have to reiterate you cannot avoid them. They are between almost every POI. Far too many times I've rotated to that underground lab near the porwler pit and the spiders would already be triggered and walking around.
I'm tired of being on edge, constantly looking over my back hoping a stray shot or grenade doesn't trigger them.
Please just add a setting model swap the spiders with nessies, make the eggs beachballs. It's one of the most common phobias, I'm one of the vocal few this probably effects much more people. Something needs to be done
I really wish there was a arachnophobia mode in the game ☹️
