Suggestion: Scope Zeroing with "Sniper" scopes
Since the often *extreme* bullet drop in this game directly affects how much players bother with long-range engagements, I think this feature would be a neat inclusion in this shooter.
Oftentimes I see players avoid using the Sniper scopes, taking no more than a 2-4x/3x scope on any gun - because at that point, going any higher in zoom is usually a detriment, given the bullet-drop-induced aiming difficulties (and the rapid movement in this game).
These scopes should offer a benefit to players beyond simple increased magnification - making it easier to actually perform a long-range sniper role, by virtue of being able to press a button to 'zero' your sight in to a certain distance before taking a shot, would make them a fun alternative to the typical choices of closer-range sights.
Put differently, it would offer a tangible benefit in exchange for the longer ADS that these scopes have in comparison to the more commonly picked 1x & 2x scopes (also part of why the sniper scopes tend to get neglected).
It would also introduce the interesting element of remembering to adjust your scope if you change position or have an entirely new engagement, and potentially having that work against you if you do forget.
Given that only the Kraber can create a danger of OHKO's (and the Wingman still offering far too much raw damage & is accurate and reliable to boot at any range), this would help make Longbows and G7 scouts more relevant, and Triple Takes more relevant in their supposedly intended purpose of long-range fighting as opposed to being makeshift shotguns.
If it can be simplified enough that Battlefield has been doing it, surely it can work here as well!
