TAKE SBMM OUT OF THE GAME
I’m just one person who doesn’t matter but take skill based match making (SBMM) out of the game, it makes it unplayable and unenjoyable. I can’t play the game with my friends because they torched in ...
@E9ine_ACI’m on Eastern US servers and its just really random I can have a level 2 and 15 on my team and run into a team with 5-6k kils 3-4k kills and one with like 8k kills and Ive had games where the champion had 15-30k+ kills and other games where its my skill level or some level 100 with 50 kills
What I assume to be my ‘’skill level’’ is basically players with 2-2.5k damage, roughly 600-1200 kills, 30-50 wins, etc but I don’t have a main account so my kills are spread out Octane and Wattson have about 1000-1100k kills and then a few legends may have 600 kills and others only have like 200-400
basically 7-8k kills total so I’m fine if I see a player with about 5-10k kills but not when its a 3 stack and I have no chance
@E9ine_ACI know what you mean, I have like 7-8k kills but its only because I’ve played a ton... my actual skill level is much lower lol unless I’m on Gibralter its pretty hard to 1 v 3 but I was lucky this one game and got my first 2k on Gibralter and idk now I got like 6-8 2k badges but the highest damage Ive ever done is only 2300 ish
They (EA) had a patent out for a matchmaking system that keeps players playing longer and spending more money... want to know how it worked? Let them win one game and then make them lose a few in a row...
Ea claims this is NOT how apex matchmaking works; however, that is ALWAYS how it feels playing solo. The game gives you two competent teammates and you roll everyone. Then the next three matches in a row you get the worst players in the game with likely .1/1 KDR and 100 avg dmg. It's night and day. Then a few games of that trash alter you get two competent teammates and roll everyone again... It also seems to give you 1 controller player now. Seems to spread them out 1 to each team. That can also be a big hit to your success now... very few of the controller players can actually do decent damage. Most just run straight at people like it's COD lol.
TLDR; it definitely feels like there is some kind of algorithm in place "spreading the talent around."
