Teaming=cheating?

Teaming is not cheating?

Multiple videos show people teaming on r/apexlegends/. Even the most upvoted topic now is promote teaming. I mean in the Battle royale not all kids wanted to kill each other and they teamed up to survive but game developers made a rule as it count as cheating. In apex i can report people for teaming...

I reported the topics on reddit because the rules say don't promote cheating. I wrote to the mods asking about it but they said they are not Respawn (what i knew). Basically they are washing their hands of.

So how is this, can i team up with others and not get banned? An official statement from the devs should be good.

(I hope i won't get the answer "we're not the reddit mods"...)
