Teammates quit almost every game.

In almost every game im forced to play solo.

whenever one of my teammates dies he just quits instantly ,even if i kill the enemy squad or get his banner.This happens a lot when i drop early ,they die right when they land and quit.

This happened to me later in the game as well.I think there should be a penalty for leaving pubs as well ,people quit games just because they got downed, too often and it's very frustrating.

I cant enjoy the game anymore ,this is supposed to be a team game ,yet i play solo in 70% of my games.If you aren't very good at the game you cant play without a friend ,because your teammates run into a squad 1v3 ,get downed and quit right of the bat.

Sometimes i dont get a teammate to begin with ,only today it happened to me 4 times ,i get ready for a match and im solo in the legend select screen ,i dont know how this happens but it does.

    There should be some form of karma-feature, where you can commend or de-commend teammates.

    Then it should work by pairing players with bad karma with other at the bottom, as well as pairing players with good karma.

    @Godisbullen That could be very easily abused by toxic players if you manually rate your team-mates. It should just be a background feature.

    @Taketh I get when people quit because a teammate doesnt back them up or goes solo ,but the problem is that a a lot of people leave just because its quicker than waiting for a respawn ,er even a revive.

    You'll have to make sure to implement some features to prevent abuse. Players that constantly is giving bad karma should probably not be counted after a while. You should also not be able to give karma to the same user over and over, preventing them from boosting mates.
    There are a lot of tweaks that could be made to ensure it works as fairly as possible.

    The point isn't to punish them, it's so they can be segregated from the rest of the community by the matchmaker.

    Unlike SBMM, it'd have a negligible impact upon queue times, as you'd be matching karma ranks at the squad level, not match level.

    @TheJumpingJawa Ah wel id just leave it then and keep it 10mins to much effort segregating, then bad karma players will quit or have easier lobbys or not find a game at all

    If you want to talk about some teammate got knock down then quit right away stuff, you should also discuss about some teammate wont revive teammate when they have the chance, they just leave the teammate to die or just want to loot first.

    @Taketh This happens to me a lot and it is random weather we drop hot or not. Many times we have got to 2nd or 3rd place after a team mate left. It is very frustrating to risk retrieving a banner and going to the effort to respawn for them to quit. Then to get so far where we were at a disadvantage short a team mate. The other bummer is that ranked is broken, I always end up over ranked so I get my * kicked in ranked. Catch 22, players quit in pub or I get slaughtered in ranked.

    @LaTencyBuLLyMe Although frustrating, I find this to be the case WAY less often than people leaving when they die. Don't forget, a lot of little kids play the game.

    They probably already have a way to segregate players into quitters and stayers because they can track player activity in many ways. A karma system would just be a meme after a while.
    I'd say don't leave it up to players to decide on this karma level, but have it automatic at least. But I don't believe a karma system will have any value after a while.
    Developers should really look at strong incentives to keep players staying even if they are downed with as an example, an increasing XP multiplier.
    If you stay after being downed, you're a team player and this should somehow be rewarded by the game.
    There should be more reasons to earn XP like increasing level cap beyond 500 or adding a total XP counter/tracker to show how dedicated the player really is.
    Because a lot of level 500 players don’t need more XP and they never buy the season pass.
    First rework the XP system for all players, even those that aren't on the battle pass, then introduce a "team player rewarding system" based on XP or other strong rewards that makes quitters into stayers. In worst case, maybe you should lose some XP if you quit out, but before penalizing, try motivating and rewarding.
