For me personally everything under 1 is below avg for sure, I would say something like 1.2 is avg
Fair enough... however let me ask you this - If a average player with, lets say a KD of 1.2 (average player) and due to the increased hackers and cheaters, cronus and macros is decimated enough, you know... R99 one clipped from 300 plus meters away, and as a result his KD drops to 0.8 - is he no longer considered an average player? Even tho his play style in a game without hackers, cheaters and smurf accounts is average or above.

@ComicBookGuy2727I mean yea if the cheater amount would inflate to an extend that someone drops only because of that to 0.8 then we could say yes 0.8 would be the new avg since everyone would drop by the same amount aside of the people that started cheating in that timeframe.
Regardless there is more to getting a good kdr then just direct firefights 1on1. Zen won’t save someone from dieing cuz of stupid positioning.when I duel my friend some in shootingrange he has a somewhat okay chance to win with like maybe 30% while I have a kdr of 1.7 current season and he is below 0.8 his garbage kdr comes from stupid decisions and garbage movement in a match not from his aim. My point here is that mechanically he can actually keep up with someone that has more than double his kdr.
But I did include this actually i do believe the current avg is about 1.2kdr.but this is purely speculation there is no indication that I’m right or wrong, but I consider in necessary to atleast be able to win more than 50% of your 1on1- ComicBookGuy27273 years agoSeasoned Ace
All I know, is many players on this forum alone, plus others, as well as many of my friends that play.... all their KD's have dropped. Most of my friends like me, have been playing since beta and for 10 to 15 seasons their KD has always been steady, the numbers don't lie. All of a sudden in the last few seasons, all their KD's have plummeted considerably. Ever since Covid and the millions of marcos and cronus sold, its been a trend across all forums and platforms. So either everyone just out of nowhere became pros or the latter.
I'll let the masses decide.
