Weapon nurfs and buffs

Ok this will be a bit of a long list and typing it on a tablet device is painful enough so please read it and mind the typos.

Nurfs

P2020 - when hammerppint is attached this guns rate of fire should drop

Alternator- the velocity of the bullets needs to be reduced, it's essentially replaced the R301 in most situations

R99 - higher recoil and more spread when hip firing

R301 - although it feels like it had a small hidden nurf with it's recoil, I think more recoil is warranted it's still a beam machine

Scout - it's powerful what more is there to say, with double tap you can erase someone with purple shields with two bursts

Wingman - lower this guns rate of fire and the distance it can shoot, this gun shouldn't rival the Longbow at all

Hammlock - lower it's rate of fire in single fire mode, it's to fast and to strong, also replace the recoil on burst mode (no idea why it was removed)

Prowler - literally everything (my go to gun but the thing is a beast, it's a delete machine)

Mastiff - since it's no longer a care package weapon remove it's incinderary rounds and also reduce its range

Peacekeeper - when it comes out of the care package since the choke is already installed it needs to balanced otherwise everyone will go to it

Volt - it's DPS just like the prowler it's a delete machine and doesn't have much of a bullet drop due to it being an energy weapon

Havok - increase it's flash and give it a bit more recoil after the initial shot

Devotion - increase hip fire spread

Triple take - it's to powerful the ability to nearly stop people from running gives it a clear advantage not to mentionnitnhas that ability when you use it like a shotgun

Sentinel - lower it's rate of fire slightly and also make it harder to quick scope it's way to easy especially when charged

Kraber - although it's a care package weapon I think it's hip firing accuracy is to high!. It needs more away and spread when not aiming

Buffs 

R301 - more ammo per clip, when you get more per clip in a sub machine gun over an assault makes no sense at all

Eva - I don't know what to do with this but now that the Mozambique got a buff the Eva is like the Lstar it's been left behind

Spitfire - increase damage or ammo per clip, back in season one this was the only gun to rival the devotion, this need to be reinstated. 

L-star - literally everything but as report have come put it's getting a nice buff so we'll see what it's like

Longbow - damage increase with and without skull piercer and rate of fire, I mean what's the actual point of using this over a wingman right now?

As for the guns I left out which isn't many, I think personally they're in a good spot right now such as the RE 45 and Charge Rifle

  • @DeMiGoD1988 For the nerfs:
    P2020 doesn’t really need a nerf at all. It is generally a weak gun, maybe good as a sidearm with the semi-rare hop up. Others are definitely better.
    Alternator probably doesn’t need a nerf either. The other light ammo guns are much better. It’s good in hip-fire, and decent at range, but that’s about it.
    Mastiff: Not sure what you mean by incendiary rounds. Technically, it has them, but they don’t really do anything special like deal damage over time.
    Generally, it seems like you want to nerf most guns in the game. If they are balanced afterwards, it’s fine. But it really would be a ton of work and very difficult to nerf most of the guns in the game and still have good balance.

    Buffs:
    Mozambique has not really replaced the EVA at all. It did get that ammo buff, but it still isn’t a great weapon overall, many people would even rather take the p2020 for the range.
    Spitfire isn’t meant to be a super high damage gun, plus it’d be pretty unbalanced if it was.


    The buffs aren’t nearly enough to offset the nerfs, so I assume you want to tone down the general ttk. If properly balanced, it could do that, but the question then is if they should. At least in S6, people were accustomed to the ttk, and so by decreasing it dramatically like in your suggestions, it would create controversy. Also, budget. Rebalancing every gun would be pretty costly and time consuming.
  • @Sir_Named then fine increase every gun to 100 damage.. seriously I enjoy gun fights theres none of that in apex.. either have the game broken and make the people who are to lazy to actually have gun fights kill easy or balance the game so everyone has a more fairer playing field. Screw controversy they need something to help newer players. Apex numbers are dwindling because they are catering to their swears, YouTube's and streamers and not to anyone else. The guy in charge of SBMM needs to be fired, new players play under level 10 as they should to get use to the game, however if that do good in say 3 games they're immediately put with high end players and leave. It's based on KDR, not rank, level or anything.. it should be based on SPM (score per minute) this detirmes how quick yoh can get a kill and how effective you are as a player.

    @DeMiGoD1988 I can’t really say anything about SBMM, that’s a much different issue. If your problem is with SBMM and getting placed with too many better players, then make a statement about that.

    I think the gun balance is fine currently, but the players have gotten better somehow. Possibly an effect from crossplay.
