Weapons That should Slightly Be Updated for Season 4
The weapons seem balanced to me this season for the first time in a long time (except the Peacekeeper which is still annoying). There are a few changes I recommend:
Assault Rifles
Flatline and R-301 with Anvil needs a better Bullet Travel or speed change. It so hard to hit someone far with their Anvil.
R-301 probably won't happen but increase damage from 14 to 15 would be wonderful. I don't know about others, but I fail to one clip people with a R-301. 14 damage is so low and people get away so much when they are literally one shot from getting knocked.
Havoc Select Fire Mode should be updated to do at least 70 damage and 100 headshot. The new increased fire rate is so good but the weapon does have some fall off damage. I can now contest snipers with the Havoc as a main weapon. Only draw back is I consume a lot of energy and 60 damage and 90 headshot is too low for the consume cost. Good job making Select Fire decent with the Havoc now though.
G7 Scout, great changes making this an assault rifle. But since you made it an Assault Rifle. I think you forgot to revert the width size increase. Revert the Width size and this weapon is in a good spot again. Also I think double tap was buffed? I couldn't tell if that was a buff or a nerf. I'll try double tap out though to experiment with.
Sub Machine Guns
No changes. I know some people are upset about the R-99 but I think it now requires more tracking if you wish to one clip people. Prowler is a good weapon but the recoil is a little harder for those to master with it. Not to mention that the prowler needs extended mags to be decent in auto fire mode or you're better off using the burst mode. Prowler is fing at the 15 damage and I personally been waiting for it to deal 15 damage ever since Season 1. Alternator is fine as it is. I see people using the Alt over the R-99 more too which is a new change to the weapon meta. No need for Disruptor Rounds.
In other words, SMGs are fine as they are but a new SMG such as the Volt would be welcomed.
Light Machine Guns
Devotion is the strongest weapon in the game indeed. It being a care package is a welcome change. I used to shoot through people's knockdown shields with it because it did like 750-950 damage before the extended mags were removed. It can now deal about 918 damage if you shoot a full clip into a knockdown shield. However, you have limited ammo. Pretty good choice to make it a care package weapon.
Spitfire is an odd weapon. The only change I recommend is increasing the leg damage reduction from 14 to at least 15. The body damage is fine at 18. The issue with the Spitfire is people be running and that mad recoil be all over the place. So what I'm saying is you're hitting people for a lot of 14s sometimes since they're running away from you. Other than that, leg damage reduction slightly buffed would be a warm change.
L-STAR - First of all, I think the L-STAR is a good change now it a normal weapon. One thing I hate is the muzzle flash. I know you guys working on it. So I won't talk about that. However, please make the Digi Threat scope attachment back on this weapon. I was lowkey upset that Digi Threat didn't work with this weapon. It should be able to see through smoke. I know it a LMG but this weapon is meant for closed ranged fights. I personally would want a Digi Threat on my L-STAR. Please look into that.
Sniper Rifles
First of all, new sniper changes are super great. Sniper Ammo good idea.
Longbow honestly needs no changes. I know some people think it fires too slow but it seems balanced to me.
Kraber no changes at all.
Triple Take needs to charge up slightly faster. I think it would also be great if the Triple Take ignore Leg Damage Reduction. Honestly, if the Triple Take had 0% Leg Damage Reduction, I use it all the time as my go to sniper.
Sentinel is a very good weapon. Takes a lot of skill to master and aim with. Only change I recommend though is a width increase buff to the bullet size. This sniper is so hard to hit people with that are far away. Exactly why I also prefer the current old snipers over this one. I think Fast Heals such as Armor and Lifeline/Gibby passive should make you Charge this sniper rifle faster. I tested this out and it's still 5 seconds no matter what. 5 seconds is the same time to pop a battery and fast heals reduces that timer. This might be a bug??? Please look into if so.
Charge Rifle, I used to hope this would be a Care Package weapon but honestly. People using the Charge Rifle against me now don't do so hot anymore. ATM, I don't see any changes for the Charge Rifle.
Shotguns
EVA-8 Auto is a weapon I still refuse to pick up. Not sure if you change it but one of those weapons I refuse to use.
Mastiff is fine as it is but PK is still stronger than a Mastiff which is stupid
Moz.... Give this weapon 4 shots. I not using the Moz Hammerpoint if I only got 3 shots. I will say it again. I rather use a P2020 Hammerpoint over the Moz Hammerpoint because I have 18 shots over 3. 3 shots has too much downtime and usually the person I am shooting at is literally 1 hit from dying and I am here reloading just to die.
Peacekeeper is the dumbest and broken weapon in the game. Nobody likes getting hit for 110-121 body shot. I recommend lowering the body shot damage down to at least about 80-90. I get PK when I land, I do nothing but rage quit like many other people because of the one tap.
I will say this again. I rather get Mastiff than get PK. Mastiff at least took skill to kill me. PK is just 1-3 taps you dead.
Or better yet, make Peacekeeper consume 2 ammo. Now you can only shoot that thing 3 times before you caught reloading it. If you want me to not get mad at the PK then the consume two bullets would be the nerf I recommend because now I and many other players can counter play.
Pistols
Re-45... hmm. One of those weapons that is good when you first land but get rid of immediately. New Hop-Up to make this a three burst pistol weapon would be a welcome change. I think a burst pistol will happen one day. Either a new one or a Hop-Up. Re-45 is a weapon I won't carry in my loadout unless it a drop weapon at the start.
P2020 is a decent weapon once you find Hammerpoint. Sometimes I am not able to use Hammerpoint or can't find it. Better than the Moz. I only get upset if the person has body armor which the P2020 is bad against. No changes though unless you increase hammerpoint hop-up spawn rating.
Wingman - decent changes made to the ammo size. No changes needed. Great choice. I still suck with the Wingman though and hardly use it. Maybe one day I'll get better.
