People just dont take this game very seriously from a competitive stand point. Many premade duos primary motivation to play the game is to play together, frag and have fun, not maximize the RP gains at all costs.
I cant blame them because I am the same. If will ofc not quit if we are all fighting valiantly together and I happen to die and my random teammate manage to make a miraculous escape and heads for safe place to craft banners and respawn. I will not quit if I die by my own recklessness like running ahead alone into a full enemy team. If my random turn tail (which they should because its a 2v3 situation because of me) and tries to craft and respawn, then I am just greatful. BUT... if we get into a fair fight, perhaps even started by the random, I fight and do a lot of good things in that fight like knocking two enemies alone and getting knocked and killed by the third, and I then see that my random teammate literally just sat behind cover the entire fight with 10 dmg dealt, then I will quit as soon as I can. The incentives to get into a new game > the incentives to maybe get my banners crafted and maybe get respawed, 10 minutes later...Its as simple as that.
In my experience, random teammate, both solos and premade duos, seem to follow this logic as well. That means that if you are a good teammate who really do your part in a fight before they get killed, they will most likely also stay to get respawned because you have proved to be worthy of their time. But if you are some Crypto player who runs behind a rock and start flying around with your drone the entire fight and then says "dOnT woRRy, i GeT yOuR BannERS!" with 0 dmg dealt, then most people will hate you and dont wanna play with you,.
